Anyone else experience ai hitting ball straight to mid on or mid off and taking off for a suicidal run?

Description of Issue: long off stuck on boundary. Three or four possible catches fluffed as player stuck on long off boundary and would not move. Fielding mode was manual. Fielding setting was one of the presets. Changed field several times but long off unable to move in when the ball was in the air.

Hey @Ross. I have a doubt here. While we remove the patches won't it affect the saved game data.

It won't effect the save.

I think the issue is the fix for the premature end to a season, that's my guess - the guys will QA it on Tuesday and get to the bottom of it.

Given a Free hit, Next ball Was given LBW'ed even though it was a Free hit Ball. I even used the BARS to review it. I mean LBW was plumb but it was still a Free hit so I should not be given out. I was still given out.

Same issue, t20 competition.

Issues with captaincy

Match Type: Test
Over Count (Match Overs + When Occured): Whole game
Ground: Melbourne Stadium
Teams: Australia vs Zimbabwe
Description of Issue:

Since the recent patch the captaincy has somehow gotten even worse. After bowling six overs my career player (fast bowler) had the figures of 3-10. I then did not bowl for another 70 overs. Both Chris Rogers and David Warner (Opening batsmen for Australia) both got 17 overs each, and Ryan Harris (Who is in fact an opening bowler) had not even bowled yet? The ai is absolutely ridiculous, and will not bowl proper bowlers at any point during the match? It has happened numerous times to me and from what I can judge other people, its hard to move forward and take wickets with your career player when your captain won't even bowl you. I have taken about 57 wickets in 10 games and still this happens nearly every game? This really needs to be fixed, it is strongly taking away from my enjoyment of the game.

That being said it is still one of the best games I have played, I really hope you guys can fix this soon

This is an issue with career mode that was fixed in the first patch.

You need to restart your career for it to take effect.

Yeah the AI batsmen hitting the ball to mid on or mid off and taking off as if it's the last ball of the T20 innings is indeed a problem.

The AI is far too aggressive.. plays a shot almost every ball, atleast to the AI bowlers... lofts a lot of balls.. one inning ended with all 10 caught. I am taking a fair deal of wkts with full tosses

The AI also misses on singles and doesn't push for extra runs.

had a couple of such run outs... and a few in the form of non-striker lazily strolling back.. need fixing asap

Just had an issue in a Career Mode 50 over game. We were chasing 217, when it started raining and the D/L reduced the target to 203 off 43 overs. We chased down 203 after 36.1 overs and the game ended, however it gave the opposing side a 13 run victory?
