Guy is clueless against anything above 90MPH. Kudos to Tendy/Punter/Lara who regularly brutalized bowlers as fast as 100MPH.

Agree with Pat - combining the shot types to play the wider array of shots mentioned would be great (esp. advancing to defend).

I would love it if fast bowlers would give us similar trouble in the game. That would make each 50 or 100 special. I think most of the time i would just play the shots normally without using any trigger when i would face bowlers above 90MPH and would the physics of the DBC to take care of the rest. Because we should be able to use the pace of fast bowlers if physics is correct.

I meant the bowlers who have bowled it. And when we compare how average batsmen have performed against such extreme pace then exploits of these great can be considered as regular.

P.S: I think 3 balls each by Tait, Lee and Akhtar.

We are lucky we don't have to worry about clearing the pitch every other ball in DBC nets :lol

Well, some of the buttons on the controller are still unused while batting. So In the future version, @BigAntStudios may decide to incude crotch scratch/sightscreen setting/jellybean/jumping etc minigames. These can be activated before bowler starts his run up :p

I think it was Nick Knight who faced a 100mph one from Shoaib. Do we include him in the list with Lara and Tendulkar? ;)

Intentionally forgetting an Aussie great. hmm, I wonder why a English would do that now ;)

Is there anyway of ducking under a short fast delivery rather than just shouldering arms?

Pull back on left stick (back foot) and press R3 (right stick). If it's a bouncer the batsman will try to duck & weave.

Thank you, I will give it a try.

I haven't been able to duck one using short/random. Only using marker and placing it short. Bounce/pace isn't quite enough.

Even the fastest ball in the nets seems about 60mph in real life in terms of reaction time  I know they have to keep it playable though.

Thanks for the vid.

The thing I like the most is how he holds his pose after most strokes, apparently nobody does that and we should fix it.

The sound looks good, I agree :p

I understand people fixating on the speed of the ball however I really care more about making sure the game is accessible to the majority of players and that it is fun. I think the ranges are at what people can handle. In sequels we may be able to make changes as the control system becomes muscle memory.
