Ok i think i have finished editing. I am now up-dating the player stats (runs averages wickets..etc).

Things edited:

1. General player abilities.
2. Player speeds & agilities.
3. Player stamina (CPU now rotates bowling)
4. Updated Rosters (added players)


So should be up-loading it as soon as I have edited stats for major Teams.
 
Ok guys, Up-dating Player stats is prooving a long job.

In the meantime I will up-load a "beta roster", for you try. All I ask is a little feedback regarding the following:

1. Rosters for all Major Int ernational Teams.
2. General playing abilities
3. Player doing the right things (IE right bowling/batting styles).
4. Affect of speed & Agility on fielders.
5. Affect of stamina on bowlers.

Are you having any problems with players losing their seam/spin ability when you adjust the player accuracy attributes?
I know Tutsi's been having problems but I don't know of anyone else.

not that i've noticed.

I have noticed that adjusting bowling accuracy seems to directly affect fielding (throwing) accuracy.
 
And vice versa, that's an EA bug. I've just copied it!

actually it doesn't happen when you use the "in-game" editor. It's not a big deal, just all bowlers have the same bowling and throwing accuracy(G. McGrath is a very accurate thrower :p)
 
Are you sure? I found that changing one changed the other. I also found that on the default roster players had exactly the same values for both.
I can very easily code it so they are seperate; I'll give it a try and see what happens...

Well I've written an alternative version. See the patch team thread.
One possibility that has occurred to me is that the EA bug is simply a display bug when using the ingame editor. Anyhow download it, play around and tell me what happens.

Ok Eddie, tried your patch, alongside (what I think is) your most recent test batting patch. Few points

1. Thank you! I worship you! You managed to slow down the goddamn fielders! This would remain the best feature of your patch if everyone who downloaded it got a free ferrari. However, I get the impression they are a little too slow. Massive improvement on what EA managed, though.
2. I used your stuff alongside a few other people's graphics updates, and Burma's Finest's 4GB bats work but are not attached to your roster, so everyone has the wrong bat. (I assume this is a problem with the roster, it may just be my computer, but I thought I'd let you know.
3. As far as I can tell, all the squads are correct, but I'm not as good as some people on here on this subject.
4. I was in a bit of a rush as I tested it, only did 5 or six overs so I cannot comment on the stamina bar. However, in those 5-6 overs (on a dusty pitch in a four day friendly) I was scoring at 8 or 9 an over and only lost 1 wicket. With the slower fielders, scoring is too easy. If possible, my personal preference would be to make it easier to pierce the field for singles but harder to reach the boundry for four, in tests at least.

yeap all the patches i have uploaded (currently) were for the "originally-fast-paced" fielders.

So yeah scoring would be easy. I will have to totally remodel my patches to fit the new slow(normal) fielders.
