Without the Skill and experience that harmison, hoggard and Anderson the inexperienced ones will struggle a little although they have done well to have the first test in Englands Honours

Those bowling ratings were excellent. I expect Jumbo and Zaheer to do better in next test though :)

Keep up the fantastic works, Trev! :clap

Updated first post again:

India Test series squad to face England is announced
Today the Indian chairman of selectors, Dilip Vengsarkar, revealed the 13-man Npower test series squad for the tour of England. Just a couple of days after the England squad was announced Vengsarkar told the media the 13 men who would play in the 3 match test series. With Harbajhan Singh and Yuvraj Singh kept out in the cold by the Indian selectors, The test side is not at it's full quality. Murali Kartik and Mohammad Kaif are the two names that have surprised many Indian fans and players. With their inexperience it seems the other XI will be the team that starts against England in the 1st test at Lords on the 19th July. The side still looks strong with many veterans in the side. Dravid, Tendulkar, Kumble, Ganguly, Sehwag and Khan all bulster the Indian team that is looking to get back to the top of international cricket. MS.Dhoni takes the keeping spot and Rahul Dravid remains captain. With major failure at the World Cup, India really need to pick their game up and this tour will be crucial to some of the players.

India 13-man squad: R.Dravid (c), MS.Dhoni (wk), S.Ganguly, W.Jaffer, Z.Khan, M.Kaif, D.Karthik, M.Kartik, A.Kumble, I.Pathan, V.Sehwag, RP.Singh, S.Tendulkar

2nd npower Test Match - Trent Bridge

England have announced the XI to play at Trent Bridge in the 2nd npower test match vs India. There is just one change from the side that beat India 4 days ago at Lords.

England XI
A.Strauss
A.Cook
M.Vaughan (c)
K.Pietersen
P.Collingwood
I.Bell
M.Prior (wk)
L.Plunkett
R.Sidebottom
M.Panesar
J.Anderson

Liam Plunkett returns to the side with Chris Tremlett making way. Tremlett had a very poor first test match and was expected to be axed for this 2nd test. Cook keeps his place at the top of the order after a really poor game with the bat at Lords. Michael Vaughan and Peter Moores will be hoping for a lot more from his seam bowlers after it was Monty Panesar who took most of the wickets in the 1st match.

India, although losing the 1st npower test match, have named an un-changed side for the Trent Bridge test.

India XI
V.Sehwag
W.Jaffer
D.Karthik
R.Dravid (c)
S.Tendulkar
S.Ganguly
MS.Dhoni (wk)
I.Pathan
A.Kumble
RP.Singh
Z.Khan

With the lack of back-up bowlers, India have had to keep the side that played in their loss in the 1st test. It is expected that Harbhajan Singh will be called up for the 3rd and final test after he was left out, somewhat harshly, by the Indian selectors from this test squad. This means even after a very poor test match, Zaheer Khan gets a chance to redeem himself at Trent Bridge. Dinesh Karthik and other poor performers such as Sourav Ganguly and Wasim Jaffer are lucky to still be in the playing XI.

After a brilliant first test match, crowds are expected to be big again here at Trent Bridge. The weather conditions are perfect with sunshine expected throughout the 5 days. The two umpires for the test match are Ian Howell and Simon Taufel. The match referee is again Ranjan Madugalle and the TV umpire is Nigel Long.

England have a stronger side but still India have a better experience in the middle order and Khan and Kumble will play a major role in this match. Great update mate :)

England's Inexperienced bowlers were lucky in the first match but i feel india can redeem themselves in the 2nd match

england are inexperianced and amazed to see zaheer playing after his 1/10
awesome work trev cant wait for the rest of this test

Really like to see Sachin lift his bat up for a century at Lords irrespective of the final outcome of the game. :D Lets see whether my dream turns true ;)

Neat presentation Trev. :clap

I am also sorry since I too have forgotten the location of first test. But I remember very well that Jumbo is yet to reveal his strength against the hosts(just 4 wickets.. He needs a 10+!). Hope that also happens in this test! ;)

Update coming tonight. I am from now on going to post in daily updates. There will be a little change to the presentation also, so look out for that :)
