It seems that the selectors might have got it right this time as the team is well balanced with A.Flintoff back in the side and retaining the captancy . While R.Clarke was injured duting training as he twisted his right ankle and is ruled out of the tournament and his place is taken up by England's favourite spinner Monty Panesar. With 3 spinners on Indian soil Englands squad is really lloking a tough one.

Australia are certaily the number 1 team of the world and are certainly unbeatable . After winning the DLF cup Australia players will be looking to win the CHampions Trophy as well but any thing is possible in knouckout games. Australians have an aggressive batting lineup and fast bowlers too which will blow the opposition away.

Also the contiditions are much favourable to them as they are the neighbouring country.

Great work again Gamer; You obviously put a lot of effort into your latest update. Top stuff.

I'm very happy with that England squad and I think that we have a genuine chance of the trophy this time. However, I think that Australia, India and Pakistan have exceptional sides and they will be very hard to beat, wheras New Zealand and South Africa are also full of talent. The Windies are reigning Champions too so they will be eager to reclaim their crown, whilst you can never write off the underdogs, Bangladesh and Zimbabwe.

Well I definitley agree with his inclusion; He is the best spinner in England and i'm sure he'll do splendidly well in India.
 
I agree with his inclusion as spinners are diffucult to play on bouncy, turning india tracks

Sanath Jayasurya is one of the most dangerous player in the world and is aggressive with the bat . He is back in Srilankan side and now even more dangerous and more aggressive . He is familiar with the Indian conditions and has quite a number of records on the Indian grounds. Anything pitched outside the line to him will surely go for a six .

Brian Charles Lara ...the name itself scare the bowlers . He is the most consistent and one of the top batsman in the world . His current form is tremendous and he has an aim in his mind while coming to Champions Trophy which is to Defend the Trophy .

The name is Bond ...Shane Bond ..... he is the most talented bowler and performs well in any tournament .He is always led down by injuries but when he playes in any form of the game he always gives 100% . Now he is back in New Zealand sideand will be hoping to win the tournament
