Sangakkara's Century Helped SriLanka To Post A Big Total K.Sangakkara scored a magnificant century and also scored it at a faster rate and showed some good aggressive batting . He is in terrific form and with this century he has announced that he will be the dangerman for the opposition .
In the last 15 overs K.Sangakkara just went on hitting the bowlers to all parts of the ground . Each time he played the ball in the gaps and was always finding the boundary . The main problem for Bangladesh was their 5th bowler which was filled-up by A.Kapali and M.Ashraful and the worst part for Bangladesh was both went for lot of runs without taking any wicket . Sangakaara changed his mode to aggressive and smashed both the bowlers to lots of runs . Sangakkara in aggressive mode:
Sangakkara was in real aggressive mode and it seemed that no was going to stop him . All the Bangladeshi fielders were on the boundary ropes and 4 fielders on the edge og the 30yard circle but that was not going to stop Sangakkara . He came down the track and smashed one straight down the ground for a huge six . There was no chance for the fielder to stop that one .
Also he was playing well and kept on rotationg the strike in his whole innings. Sangakkara turning out to be a nightmare for Bangladesh:
Finally Sangakkara played a backfoot drive to bring up his century . He scored his century off 105 balls with 9 fours and 1 six . But that was not the end he went to score more and more in the slog overs. meanwhile M.Atapattu also went for the slog in the end with 2 succesive boundaries to S.Rasel. 100 for Sangakkara:
Finall S.Rasel picked up the wicket of M.Atapattu by bowling a perfect yorker and M.Atapattu tried to hit that one down the ground but missed that completely and saw his middle stump knocked back . Atapattu score 89 runs and made a solid comeback after the injury . But in the last two overs Sangakkara and M.Jayawardena scored 22 runs which were very useful and got them to a big total of 283/3 in their 50 overs.
