Slow Start for SriLanka

SriLanka have started off slowly and also have lost the big wicket of Sanath Jayasurya . The Bangladeshi bowlers were bowling tihght line and length and were keeping the ball in the line of the stumps and due to the swing genetated early in the innings batsmen were finding it difficult to get bat on ball .Now the conditions have changed the ball is not swinging as much as it was in the 1st 6-7 overs and batsmen are finding it easy to score runs.

Tapash Baisya bowled an excellect line and length and was keeping the ball on the middle and leg stump . Both Tharanga and Jayasurya were finding it difficult to score runs against Baisya . The ball was swinging and was coming into the left hander .
T.Baisya bowling a good line :

The openers were frustrated as both Baisya and Rasel bowled a maiden inside 1st five overs. S.Jayasurya was not off the mark for the 1st 7 balls. S.Rasel bowled one away from the off stump and Jayasurya went for the cover drive and was a bit uppish .R.Saleh went for the catch and made a good diving attempt but the ball just brushed his finger tips . Jayasurya was dropped on 0 and this could prove very costly for Bangladesh.Next ball Rasel pitched on leg stump and Jayasurya went for the big hit on the leg side and connected handsomely .
Jayasurya Dropped on 0 :

Jayasurya was looking dangerous as he scored a 6 and a 4 in the previous over of Rasel . This were ominous signs for Bangladesh and rasel was going for runs now. Rasel bowled one on the middle stump and Jayasurya tried to play accross the line but he missed that completely . The ball hit him just above the knee roll and there was a big appeal from the bowler . The umpire gave that one out but it looked as if it was bit high.
Jayasurya gone for 13 :

Hawkeye confirmed that the ball was going over the top of the stumps a bad decision by the umpire.

Jayasurya went for just 13 runs and rasel picked up the 1st wicket of the tournament .

M.Atapattu is the new man in . He is back to international cricket after few months and will like to get few runs in this match to get himself going. He has lots of experience and now he needs to play well here . Both Tharanga and Atapattu were playing cautiosly as the ball was swinging . Atapattu made a slow start and Tharanga was just placing the ball for singles . Now SriLanka are going slowly but steadly at a run rate of 4.26 rpo . But they need to score a bit quicker if they want to post a big score .

Partnership going on nicely :

U.Tharanga
: 28*(50) 1 Four
M.Atapattu : 15*(26) 1 Four
S.Jayasurya : 13(14) OUT 1 Four 1 Six
Current Run Rate : 4.26 rpo

T.Baisya: 8-1-24-0
S.Rasel :4-1-26-1

Great presentation gamer! Looking forward to a Bangladeshi win!

SriLanka have made the steady start for first 15 overs and good thing is that they lost just one wicket!!! Rafique might feel after to miss this match:D

I hope the Tigers can pick up a few more wickets and win this match! :)
