Expert Cop Mafia 1 - Endgame Town win

Alright, look. I hate to do this but, Abhas is definitely town.

Here's how -
Code:
Assuming Abhas as scum -

Haari -> Paranoid/Insane (Adi as mafia)
User -> Paranoid/Insane (Smurf as mafia)
Smurf -> Naive/Insane (Abhas as town)
Aditya -> Paranoid/Insane (Smurf as mafia)

If we assume Abhas as mafia (I assumed him as we didn't have his info and for this, we wouldn't need it in any case as, if he is mafia, he will definitely be lying and so). I know it doesn't make sense but, let me explain.

If Abhas is mafia, Haari, myself and Aditya have to be either Paranoid or Insane. Surely, this cannot happen as there are only 2 roles and three people and, we know, there is only one cop of a certain type.

Forgot to add that Smurf could well be a mafia too.

Yeah, Abhas's defo town now. With his result, we could narrow it down who among you three (Adi/User/Smurf) is mafia. ;)

Scenario #4 coming in a jiffy. :p

No, we cannot narrow down anything. How do we know you're not lying? We can just eliminate players who can be confirmed town. One player can only be cleared on day 1. We also do not know who Abhas is. I mean his sanity. So, we cannot narrow down anything. If you keep on going by the scenarios, there are many possibilities.

Scenario #4: I'm telling the truth, but not trusting the other 3.

Data: I got Adi mafia aligned.

Haari -> Normal/Paranoid/Insane (Adi as mafia)
User -> Normal/Paranoid/Insane/Mafia (Smurf as mafia)
Smurf -> Normal/Naive/Insane/Mafia (Abhas as town)
Aditya -> Normal/Paranoid/Insane/Mafia (Smurf as mafia)

Case 1: Adi is town

I'm confirmed insane. Revamped table:

Haari -> Insane (Adi as mafia)
User -> Normal/Paranoid/Mafia (Smurf as mafia)
Smurf -> Normal/Naive/Mafia (Abhas as town)
Aditya -> Normal/Paranoid (Smurf as mafia)

Now if User's mafia and Smurf's town:

Haari -> Insane (Adi as mafia)
User -> Mafia (Smurf as mafia)
Smurf -> Normal/Naive (Abhas as town)
Aditya -> Paranoid (Smurf as mafia)
Abhas -> Naive/Normal

Now if Smurf's mafia and User's town:

Haari -> Insane (Adi as mafia)
User -> Normal/Paranoid (Smurf as mafia)
Smurf -> Mafia (Abhas as town)
Aditya -> Normal/Paranoid (Smurf as mafia)
Abhas -> Naive

Result: Possible. Makes sense.

Case 2: Adi is mafia => Both User and Smurf are town

I'm normal/paranoid. Revamped table:

Haari -> Normal (Adi as mafia)
User -> Paranoid (Smurf as mafia)
Smurf -> Naive (Abhas as town)
Aditya -> Mafia (Smurf as mafia)
Abhas -> Insane

User's confirmed paranoid and hence I'm confirmed normal and hence Smurf's confirmed naive.

This should really help us once Abhas gives his night's results.

Agree with User here - there's too many variables atm, and posting them all atm will only end in us being confused.

Exactly. But, what I posted is correct, I feel. Abhas has to be town aligned. Once he posts his results, I'll show how.

Damn. Wasn't around all this time.
Investigated User, got Town aligned.

----------

Will take my time to read through the entire thing.. Just off from a meeting, and my head hurts.

Scenario #4: I'm telling the truth, but not trusting the other 3.

Data: I got Adi mafia aligned.

Haari -> Normal/Paranoid/Insane (Adi as mafia)
User -> Normal/Paranoid/Insane/Mafia (Smurf as mafia)
Smurf -> Normal/Naive/Insane/Mafia (Abhas as town)
Aditya -> Normal/Paranoid/Insane/Mafia (Smurf as mafia)

Case 1: Adi is town

I'm confirmed insane. Revamped table:

Haari -> Insane (Adi as mafia)
User -> Normal/Paranoid/Mafia (Smurf as mafia)
Smurf -> Normal/Naive/Mafia (Abhas as town)
Aditya -> Normal/Paranoid (Smurf as mafia)
Abhas -> Normal/Naive/Insane

Now if User's mafia and Smurf's town:

Haari -> Insane (Adi as mafia)
User -> Mafia (Smurf as mafia)
Smurf -> Normal (Abhas as town)
Aditya -> Paranoid (Smurf as mafia)
Abhas -> Naive (User as town)

Now if Smurf's mafia and User's town:

Haari -> Insane (Adi as mafia)
User -> Normal/Paranoid (Smurf as mafia)
Smurf -> Mafia (Abhas as town)
Aditya -> Paranoid/Normal (Smurf as mafia)
Abhas -> Naive (User as town)

Result: Possible. Makes sense.

Case 2: Adi is mafia => Both User and Smurf are town

I'm normal/paranoid. Revamped table:

Haari -> Normal (Adi as mafia)
User -> Paranoid (Smurf as mafia)
Smurf -> Naive (Abhas as town)
Aditya -> Mafia (Smurf as mafia)
Abhas -> Insane (User as town)

Result: Not possible, as Abhas cannot be insane if User's actually town.

Final conclusion: One off User/Smurf's mafia.

----------

Confirmed sanities:

Haarithan - Insane Cop
Abhas - Naive Cop

I can't make out anything from what Haari has written!!!
User makes an excellent point that we can just confirm townies based on elimination.

Haari and User's calculations are brilliant but both miss one vital element. One of the five of you made up your result :p

Code:
Assuming Haari as scum -

Abhas -> Sane/Naive (User as town)
User -> Paranoid/Insane (Smurf as mafia)
Smurf -> Sane/Naive (Abhas as town)
Aditya -> Paranoid/Insane (Smurf as mafia)

So, this doesn't clear Haari.

Code:
Assuming Smurf as scum -

Haari -> Paranoid/Insane (Adi as mafia)
Abhas -> Sane/Naive (User as town)
User -> Sane/Paranoid (Smurf as mafia)
Aditya -> Sane/Paranoid (Smurf as mafia)

This doesn't clear Smurf as well.

Code:
Assuming Aditya as scum -

Abhas -> Sane/Naive (User as town)
Haari -> Sane/Paranoid (Adi as mafia)
User -> Paranoid/Insane (Smurf as mafia)
Smurf -> Sane/Naive (Abhas as town)

This doesn't clear Aditya.

Code:
Assuming Abhas as scum -

Haari -> Paranoid/Insane (Adi as mafia)
User -> Paranoid/Insane (Smurf as mafia)
Smurf -> Naive/Insane (Abhas as town)
Aditya -> Paranoid/Insane (Smurf as mafia)

This is what I posted earlier. Abhas is definitely town. And, also has to be Sane/Naive as I am town.
