I am disappointed with the crowd in today. This is easily the biggest neutral fixture in the group stage IMO, was hoping to see closer to a full house.

Should the entire responsibility be on the Indian fans though? It is also the responsibility of the fans of those respective countries to fill up the stands. I guess security fears drove them away.

What a nothing shot from Franklin. Didn't go hard at it and didn't try to get the bat out of the way at the last second either. Just hung it out there. He was just asking to be dismissed.

I've never understood why Franklin bats so high. Yes he's improved his batting but not to the extent that he should be coming in at No. 5 against top quality opposition.

Tbh there are a fair amount of Aus and Nz fans in the crowd. I would just think that in a country like India, in a big WC game like this one, that more people would show. But it is a workday... I'm expecting the crowd to increase as the day goes on.
