@ Culli: Wow, two successive all English Champions League final! Platini would be pissed! :p

Nonetheless, an impressive achievement there with the league titles as well. :thumbs

September 15th 2032, the season in progress I've already won the UEFA Super Cup and the Spanish Supercopa, and am in the hunt for La Liga, Copa del Rey and the Champions League.

Won jack-all at any of my other previous clubs (Tottenham, WBA, Leeds (twice), Villarreal, Bristol City, Bolton, H?rcules, Stoke, Man U). But since being at Barca I've won the Supercopa twice, Copa del Rey twice, La Liga twice, Champions League twice, World Club Cup once and Super Cup once.

Ok, well I have taken on dafuge's FM11 challenge, taking a previously unplayable club in the Blue Square North/South to Premier League and Champions League glory.

Took charge at Halifax after they were promoted into the Blue Square Bet North. Currently in 5th place after 8 games with 5 wins, 2 draws and a loss. I really made too many transfers though and my wages are getting a little high, bringing in 12 players on free transfers and 5 on loan. The only thing I need now is a decent goalie but I think I'll wait until next season to get one, if I can't get anybody on loan.

Sean McGinty was my best pickup, playing in all 8 matches, scoring one goal, getting 2 MOTM performances and an average rating of 7.25. Koroma, one of 3 strikers brought in (although one is on loan from Newcastle), has currently scored 3 goals and set up 4 in 6 starts (2 off bench) and USA midfielder, Will Packwood has been solid as well with 2 goals and 4 assists with an average rating of 7.26 in 8 matches.

Failed to win in my first 7 visits to Old Trafford with Chelsea but now, I have won 2 in a row! :D

I'll admit though that I was very VERY lucky to come away with a win in this particular match. IF it weren't for Cech's world class saves, the result could have so easily been different. United had about 2-3 really clear cut chances but Cech denied them each time. They then hit the woodwork 3 times and any one of them could have easily gone in and annoyingly enough, quite a number of their long shots were pretty accurate but Cech again, produced great saves to deny them!

I was mainly playing on the counter but thankfully, I got those two goals at the right time because nearly every highlight in the match was United getting corner kicks, free kicks and throw-ins and I was freaking out! :p

Nonetheless, delighted the win and completed the job by beating them 1-0 in the second leg.

Ok, well won the Blue Square North pretty easily, with 100 points from our 42 games, 13 more than second placed Eastwood. Aaron Spear, on loan from Newcastle scored 29 goals over the season. We also made it to the 1st Rnd of the FA Cup and were the FA Trophy semi-finalists where we lost 2-1 on aggregate. This season, we brought in a few new players, Mitch Walker from Brighton as a goalkeeper for free, we made the deal for Aaron Spear permanent after his contract expired at Newcastle and we picked him up on a free transfer. We also brought in central defender, Steven Smith on a free transfer after his contract at Arsenal expired, and has the potential to be a good championship defender in the future and currently tied with McGinty and Yalodahi on current ability. We also brought in 18 year old right back, Adam Henley and Croatian striker, Nikola Saric on free transfers. I tried to do some extensive scouting for an attacking right midfielder but my options were scarce and I ended up loaning Nathan Koranteng from Peterborough for the season, and he scored a goal and made an assist in his first game which is promising :p Also brought in defender, Fraser Kerr on loan from Birmingham for 3 months but I think I'll just be using him as cover.

And we've played 2 matches so far this season, with a 3-0 home win against Mansfield to start the season before taking a 1-0 victory at Grimsby thanks to a goal from Aaron Spear off the bench.

Is Spear your new Goodwillie?

Starting with Liverpool in the game is rather annoying. A dire team, players' morale are horrible, no transfer budget whatsoever and you basically have to wait for someone to takeover before you can even attempt to hire backroom staffs, let alone buying new players! :facepalm
