well if your talkin about the player run arrows on the tactics screen, then yeah the demos is the same as the full version

I don't understand why they even messed with it. My whole tactics are ruined. If it's not broke, don't fix it.

I'm sticking with 08. Currently managing Southampton and I'm 5th with 5 games to go in the Championship. I made some great signings and they're really paying off.

yeah i guess FM 08 is in some ways still better than 09. Especially i think you can dl the updated db for this season so, no missing out there

ADDM from Sortitoutsi is the update you want for FM 08.
I downloaded the most recent update and started a game as City. Got one hell of a team after just 1 summer of spending, and am 2 points clear at the top of the league after beating Chelski 1-0 at their place. My team is:

The team's been awesome so far, also managed to sell Ireland as well, got some decent money for him and that helped when trying to buy Iniesta. Spent a ridiculous amount of money, but it's been worth it so far, they're playing fantastically. Scoring so many goals (Totti has 10 in 8 in the league), everyone in the team is contributing with goals, and we've also got good players on the bench who can come in to give certain players a rest. I've got guys like Richard Dunne, Michael Johnson, Gelson Fernandes (awesome), Stephen Defour, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Joe Hart, Jo and Benjani who can just come in and provide assistance when someone needs a rest. It's working fantastically, it's really great seeing the players follow my team instructions and score alot of goals.
The best match I've had so far was away to West Ham. We absoloutely dominated the first half, going in at half time 3-0 up with goals from Totti, Aguero and Iniesta. Then by the 85th minute West Ham had somehow managed to pull it back to 3-3 with a flukey off-side goal from Marlon Harewood levelling things up. Then in the 92nd minute a corner from Robinho was put in by Vincent Kompany to seal a fantastic victory. Beating Chelsea 1-0 at their place, with a goal from Robinho was really good as well. I thought just buying the title would be pretty boring, but it's actually been very good fun, maybe City should employ me as the manager
