FOOTBALL Football Manager Discussion

Too much. Try and get someone like Samba, who you might be able to get for a little less if you're lucky. Depends on what is value is on your game.

Just lost 3-2 away at Derby in the Carling Cup 3rd round. They're in the Championship and I am Just stunned on how we lost that. They had 5 shots and scored 3 of them. I won this competition last season which means I won't win it two times in a row. :(

I wouldn't pay anywhere near that much for him. Give up, there are better defenders on the game. You could buy both Berezutskiy brothers for that price.

Well, we were easily beaten 5-0 in the Community Shield against Chelsea. It's not as bad as it seems, it was just they were superb in front of goal. Drogba smashed in 2 and Crespo got 3. We played some good football at times, but we are still a long way from challenging for the title!

I just lost my first game, away to Arsenal. They just dominated the game, didn't help that Micah Richards got himself sent off in the 20th minute, but they deserved to win the game. Was a disappointing 3-0 loss, but the team have come back strongly, beating Sevilla 2-1 with 2 goals from Iniesta after a rousing team talk from me :D. I just reafirmed my 3 point lead at the top of the league beating Wigan 2-0, with goals from Elano and Jo as well. Things are going along nicely, just a shame I've got Liverpool away and United at home in my next 2 games, need at least 4 points from those 2 games.

Just beat Everton 1-0. For some reason my games against Everton are always low scoring games. I played them last season 3 times and the scores were 1-1, 1-0 and 1-0 with me winning two games. It was very one sided and could easily of been 3 or 4. Jimmy Briand was sensational up front and took his goal well.

Played 8, won 6, scored 24, conceded 4. Currently in third place but have a game in hand and am 3 points behind the leaders, Liverpool.

Whoever edited my post is a right bell, i've made the appropriate adjustments.

Anyway Jose Baxter is as good as he was last year. I play him up front with Owen and he's and our Jose is a right beast. Now that's not a spoiler because I didn't even sign him as he was in my u18s.

Still a 100% win record and only conceeded one but Aguero is pissed and wants to leave:mad.

Dr. Pepper added 2 Minutes and 11 Seconds later...

Manager of the month, two months in a row :D.

Aguero didn't enjoy playing for my Barca side either. Little spick. But no fuss, I just flogged him to City and Toni Kroos instead. He's a demon of a player as well.

Arggh, that's annoying. Lost to Liverpool in our opening game of the season. We played pretty well again, and had plenty of chances. We just couldn't handle Torres and their counter attacks. Apparently Alonso got sent off as well, but I never saw it lol. We started badly last season as well.

Hmm, he's slowly finding his feet though.

This is just out of the blue but anyone remember Soccer AM Badgers on Fm05 lol?

Liverpool sacked Rafa after about 7 games into my Everton season and brought in David Moyes to replace him. :D

Matt, you twat. I didn't know Rafa Benitez was a shite manager, can you spoiler your post please? You're ruining it for all of us.

I've just made bids for a few decent players. Made bids for Guillherme (awesome young Brazilian, scores heaps of goals), Ignacio Camacho (Dynamite 17 year old Spanish defensive midfielder), Jovetic (may cost me more than I can afford unfortunately, his team are wanting £20million =/), Sebastian Boenisch (Just an enquiry and a scout report at the moment, but he looks to have potential) and Toni Kroos (17 year old Attacking Midfielder from Bayern Munich).

If I could add those guys to my squad, which already includes top youngsters like Chad Evans, Michael Johnson, Micah Richards, Joe Hart, Sergio Aguero and Alessandro Rosina, I'll have a dynamite side. Just beat Liverpool away as well =D

Dan stop being an arse and just leave it.

Just beat Blackburn 3-2 in our second game, although we made it harder than it should have been. Went 2-0 up and were looking comfortable until they scored on 35 and went down our end and scored straight from our kick-off. Agbonlahor smashed one home to give us the lead but we had to hold off a lot of pressure for the last 20 mins. Not looking that great, but a win's a win.
