Just over an hour left in the days play, The ball is seaming around all over the place! Tommorow we'll see bright sunshine and humid weather, hopefully. Lancashire lead by 33 runs.

Day 3 Session 3


An awful start for Lancashire in their second innings saw wickets falling, and quickly. The ball has been seaming and finding the edge numerous times. Waqar has taken a wicket and his line and length has been unstoppable. Flintoff has already edged a couple of times. Three wickets fell for just one run. Swann, Chilton and Loye unable to just sit in and survive the final hour of play. Richardson has already picked up three wickets and nearly had a hat trick. Law was gone, deceived in the flight and clean bowled, And then as if things couldnt get any worse Flintoff ran out hooper on the final ball of the day. With Lancashire leading by 67 runs and 6 down, they will be trying to just block out for the final days play. A draw now looks a good result. And with conditions now staying as they are that may be a hard task.

Day 4 Session 1


The horrible weather has stuck around, shame the Lancashire batsmen couldnt do that. Flintoff and chapple both run out. Schofiled caught in the outfield. Hegg was left with the tail and had a quick blast hitting a few fours. Cork and Anderson got themselves out. Warwickshire need 88 runs to win. A dismal second innings has cost them the game. Lancashire already looking to the next game for inspiration.

Warwickshire Innings


Well Warwickshire made it look easy, they cruised to the victory in one day style as Flintoff kept the field in. Anderson was unlucky not to have had Knight lbw in the first over, but it was plain sailing after that. Back to the drawing board for Lancashire.

Notts win the toss and elect to field first. A suprise considering the conditions, maybe they noted what happend in the last match when Lancs batted first.

Good to see Hooper opening the innings....was very disappointing in the Warwickshire game.

Day 1 Session 1

Well talk about a change in fortunes. Lancashire seemed to have put the last game behind them. They took full advantage of the plum conditions. The pitch was a beauty, if it was a woman in iraq it probably would have been ***** without a condom. Lancashire changed their batting order around after the **** poor performance in the last game. Hooper saw himself opening the batting, he's definatly to good to be batting in the middle order. Apparently he was seen selling crack coccaine to some oap's in the crowd, but boy did he bat well! Mr Flintoff & Mr Crack Dealer stole the show in the morning session. Hooper's form *currently* looks unstopable, driving thru the covers as if he never receieved that drink drive charge. Flintoff has been equally as good, and reached a satisfying 50, he also smashed a fat 6 off his legs. So Lancashire much in control, however they know they will need a score of 400 plus to be anywhere near competitive on this wicket.
