Group A - Australia, Netherlands, Scotland, South Africa

Ok, before I go to bed, I'm going to make some (possibly ridiculous) predictions.

Bracken - ugly start, recovers, mediocre game - 0/60ish
Tait - matchwinning performance - 6/60
McGrath - doesn't cop as much stick as Pollock - 3/45
Watson - plays like a total noob - 8 an over until he's pulled 0/50
Hogg - tidy spin, a crucial wicket, won't get enough overs - 1/30
Symonds - undercooked, will probably get too many overs - 0/60

I honestly don't have a feeling like this is going to go either way. The pitch might have been at its far and away best for batting early on and it could well be hard to chase on. The bowlers at times fought back cleverly and I feel it isn't beyond the Australian bowlers to replicate strategies. Australia also bring more spin and greater variety of pace, which could allow them to extract something more than what South Africa could get. Still, I think South Africa will make a very good showing, if not a victorious one.

Goodnight!

Got one thing right already angry, Bracken ugly start, 4 then 6 hmmm
All de Villers too, Smith yet to face a ball.

That's gotta be a worry for SA, Tait's first ball didn't bounce at all, was close to a roll.

We desperately need a wicket  , not happy with Tait :(

McGrath replaced Tait, but it isn't working well.

McGrath has been hit for 3 fours in a row! I can't believe what I am seeing now.

hmmm...I'm staying up all night and all morning to listen to this game. What a game it is so far. Disspointed with symonds not getting a six though...

Aussies needs a breakthrough now....in others words a wicket.

Four bowlers introduced  not a single wicket still now

lol

I know aye?

Perhaps when SAF reach 100 they lost a wicket then...
