Either they should have Ganguly back as captain, or should have Yuvraj as captain! Ganguly will be a stop gap arrangement to bring the team back on the rails. Yuvraj if the team wants to build him as the future captain!

Dravid cut from the team? No way! Poor guy! What did he do as a player to be sacked? I would be hurt if it happened! Agarkar, Harbhajan and Uthappa need to go. Gambhir - not bad. Powar - until Chawla is groomed, Powar needs to take care of our spin in ODI's. We need to blood Tiwari.
What about Badrinath? He was fighting with Saurav for a World Cup spot. He is a very solid batsman and an excellent fielder. he is captaincy material too!

Beautiful, India, if any of these reports are to be believed. Why don't we just get rid of everyone who has shown talent, promise or performance in the last few years? Nice way to scapegoat everyone.
Agarkar has always been inconsistent but he was starting to get into his groove against Sri Lanka. Too bad he only got to bowl 8 overs, when he was clearly the best of our pace bowlers in that XI.
Uthappas showed promise but he fails in one tournament and he gets kicked out? Can't say the BCCI haven't done that before.
Harbhajan Singh was only a year back hailed as our best ODI bowler in the current team. One bad tournament and we want his head, too? Dravid has been our most consistent performer in ODI's for a while now and I guess it would only be normal to drop him as well.
If India make wholesale changes, we're not going to get anywhere. In fact, we'll be taking many, many steps back.
As for team unity, I think it is tied hand-in-hand with winning. When we had that streak of wins chasing, no one would have doubted the unity of our team. Hence, I think it's extremely inaccurate to single out Chappell and Dravid as the people who have sapped away India's team unity.

Sacking Dravid is probably one of the biggest of the mistakes the BCCI could do. Dada as captain is a good stopgap measure, but sacking our most reliable batsmen, someone who has now taken the chalice from Tendulkar as the bearer for our team, is a huge mistake.

Sourav Ganguly ahs denied to be captain , new contenders are Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh . BCCI is looking for Steve Waugh or John Bucchanan as India's new coach
If we look for a captain, we should find someone who'd either fit the aggressive, or cricket brain type approach. The Alexander or Hannibal Barca type archetype...if you will. I think if you look at all great leaders, in any field, they've all fit one of the two personality types.

I didnt say he should be made captain. DamN! Why would I? when he hasnt even played a game for India, how can he be made a captain? I said he is an exciting future captaincy material!
