Group B - Bangladesh, Bermuda, India, Sri Lanka

Richards for next Coach! Nevermind, he just wants to be a motivational speaker. That'd still be awesomeness!

Well just got back from an awesome trip to Trinidad! I don't care that we lost the match, I had an AWESOME time.
Weather was awesome, people were so friendly, and to top it all off, i stayed in the same hotel as All the Cricketers (from India, SL, Bangla, and bermuda!) They would just walk around, we talked to all of them, i got autograph's, pictures, everything.
The experience in the game was awesome as well, the first international match i've ever been to!
and my pic is in Cricinfo!

I'm the kid!
For more details about my trip look at my post in the "i'm leaving/back thread"
Good luck to SL from now on! SL players are SOO Nice.
Karthik was the nicest Indian All of them were nice!

Big names are their for the next coach of India, i think we should wait for April 6th after BCCI decides about Greg Chappell...

I think BCCI should stick to Greg Chappell and sort out the internal mess first. Firstly, get a decent Ranji format in place that encourages tougher competetion and reduce the number of state teams to say 5 or 6. Right now, there's just too many and noone is getting paid enough. The Indian team that lost is, in fact, the best India has to offer. Maybe a couple of changes still need to be done but that's about it. The problem goes deeper than what is visible outside.

I disagree. Apart from a few eyebrow-raising selections, I think many of the best Indian cricket players are still in state cricket waiting to be found.

But, we don't even know if they are playing State cricket yet.

One thing I can't understand is why we can't produce a consistently fast bowler? Are the international schedules too tough for us to maintain the pacey prospects we do find? (Nehra, Patel...

A question we have asked for last 15 or so years and the answer lies in our daily to daily bringing up, diet, living conditions etc. Its not a hard one to guess.

Among foreign coaches, I rate Richards higher. He is aggressive, a mentally tough guy! A no nonsense fellow, and is not as open as Greg Chappell is regarding what happens within the team. Greg might not be open with it to the media, but what happens inside is easily leaked out!
