Group C - Canada, England, Kenya, New Zealand

Davison was the big star for Canada last world cup, my first memory of cricket was him bashing the West Indies for the quickest world cup hundred :)

I get the feeling that might change after this world cup ;) certainly if he can get back to the form of 2005 just when we need him again

Freddie really stated to look like his old self towards the end of the ashes (89 at Sydney) and during the CB series where he made a few scores and his bowling really looked world class. On his day he can be unstoppable, so it's great news that he's starting to peak at the right time, unlike 2003 where we had just got beaten in the VB series finals.

This shd be a easy cakewalk for England & Kiwis into Super8.

* England's confidence have been raised to great extent after three consecutive wins against Aussies. This is what they needed before WCup. That too, they did without key players in Australia. So with key players like KP and Vaughany, no doubt its one of the strong teams now :)

* And for Kiwis, i always like Kiwi team under Fleming's captaincy. They does have full potential of winning the Wcup but the problem is inconsistency among players. If all the players come with their level best, definitely no doubts, i should use a superlative here.... i.e The Strongest Side in Cricket!

Some of People have ignored England as Favourites, I will keep them in mind as they have reached final 3 times, which is a big thing you know, always with good strategies.

Can I ask where are the two working "H"'s? Harmison & Hoggard ?
Is Mahmood & plunkit good enough for the Squad?

Harmison has never had a good ODI performance bar his 5'fer against Australia at Bristol in 2005 (in which he still got sent around the park) and Hoggard has just never adapted to the shorter format. Bowls too many legside deliveries which would be fine in Tests but not so in ODIs.

They should have still kept Hoggard in Team IMO, I'm sure he would have played a key role, also Harmison abit early to retire, should have done it after the World Cup, anyway it's up to him.

Lordy, I have a horrible feeling that Kenya are just going to rout us.

I can just see Kenya beating us. Hopefully we can beat NZ first up and then we can relax.

We are of the same mind. ;)

Mahmood has an off day, gets smacked around. England give wickets away looking to slog. It can happen.

Surely Mahmood won't play? we should play our strongets team in every game
