Definitely not as strong as it would be with Asif and Ahktar. That bowling lineup could go for a biggie on a flat pitch against a good batting side.
Definitely. I'd be tipping the Windies for top here now, shame I already put vcash on Pakistan :( Pakistan will bow out in the Super 8s now methinks.

WHAT!? Asif, Shoab out of the WC. I never saw it coming. Those dopes (pun intended) had to get "injured" just now.

What farce this whole affair has been. Looks like everyone except the Pak board knew this was going to happen.

o well now Pakistan need a Imran Khan to win the world cup, or myabe a couple of them. Rana may do some good one these pitches and now its the big stage that Sami has to proove himself on if he gets to play.

We are so screwd without Razzaq and now Asif too... he was our main man in SA...

If Rana finds his sizzlin ODI form which he had in series in India in 2004/05 and last cariibean tour, we wont feel the loss of Asif and Sami needs to get back to his early days where he was so lethal and he has had hattricks in both test and ODI's i think

nah we are missing Asif,Akhtar and Razzaq but we are still quite capable of beating all 3 teams in our Group

yea the batting lineup is still strong but its the bowling that has to proove itself, cant really judge Kaneria by the small amount of ODIs he has played but if he does get a spot in the 11 he needs to be on top of his game.

Pakistan bowling was one of the stronger ones this tournament but now they too have fallen back into the pack where their bowling could go for a few.

Its still not that bad. Our bowlers are still very good when you see their ODI averages.

Yasir Arafat hardly got the chance in the International level but his Domestic cricket has been great. Handy with the bat as well.
