And that's stupid that the All Whites weren't allowed to do a Haka, FIFA are a bunch of homos.

Do you think they'd want to if they could though... As one of the All Whites mentioned, I don't think that a bunch of skinny white guys doing the haka would be very scary... :sarcasm

Well, I can hardly have India as my Plan A or B (or even Z ) now can I ? When I was younger (around 2000, when I was 8), my favorite player was Oliver Kahn. That's why I support Germany. However, I've been following the Premier League for a number of years now so I probably feel a little closer to the English team now (plus it has Gerrard which makes it a no brainer ).

For what it's worth, India qualified for the Asia Cup, football, after a long time. Whenever the next one's held. Hopefully, we'll have a Plan A soon!

YES. Slovakia. They were my dark horse pick, and wanted to see them do well. Great performance.

Quag should've started all the games, and Cassano should've been picked. Pazzini should've started. Lippi's stubborn selection policy is a bit meh, I guess. But, credit to Lippi for taking the blame for the loss. Massive respect for him, although I don't like the Italians much.

anyways they remained unbeaten throughout the their campaign. i dont know why they just dont go into extra time and then penalty shoot-outs for every match.

They planned to do one, and some of them were practicing it on the news
They said they would do it after the match no matter what the result, but FIFA said they couldn't.
But yeah Simon Elliot doing the Haka = a laugh

Edit: NZ should've done a Haka - the Italians would've been too busy laughing to play football, so you would've easily defeated them. :laugh

Enjoyed the every moment of the watch. It wasn't surprising to see Defending champions getting owned, I thought Slovakia really played well in this match.

I was pretty disappointed with Lippi's selections actually. A lot of players who deserved to be in the squad were overlooked for all these "experienced" guys. Prandelli is the next coach, and I am sure he'll overlook a more consistent, reliable, promising era for Italian football.
