India in England/Ireland/Scotland

It is simple to say but he seems to feel that he physically cannot staighten it any more.

India need tuttay ram(Sachin) to perform tomorrow guys...and flintoff needs to go to the doctor and also...India need Yuvi to score 50 again should be fun watching youngster playing cricket

um mods should delete this message....

it is very offensive in hindi/urdu

It doesn't seem offensive to me. Tuttay means broken, but don't know what he mean with 'ram'.

Anyway England should win this match tomorrow, otherwhile I feel India will clinch the ODI series on the final match. Good news is that Ryan Sidebottom is coming back, but India should surely have some mental edge above England after winning the last match.

whats wrong with tuttay ram ?
It's funny actually.
Ram-invincible
Tuttay-broken....
Come on ppl, just appreciate the sense of humour the guy has !

Well bare in mind that Panesar has only played around 9 county one day matches in his life before he made his England ODI debut, Powar has played nearly 100 list A games, so it's going to take time.
England didn't select him for the 06 forgettable champions trophy and there was a media backlash.
I think he should probably go back to Northants to play some OD cricket in future seasons.

And at least he has acknowledged that he bowls a bit quick sometimes
Well Powar would have been in the team long back if it wasn't for Harbhajan Singh. By that token, we may have been at a point today where comparing Powar and Panesar in the same breath would be an insult to the skill of the former. England never seem to treat their spinners with a lot of respect, though. Even when Powar and Chawla go for runs they are persisted with and they do end up getting important scalps.

Yes but Panesar's penetration in ODI's has vanished and is now going for runs too.

wright gets his debut cap

mascarehnas back in..we bat to 9 again :p

england win toss and bat

cook gone 2nd ball

looks like we still haven't resolved our opening problems..

in fact they have got worse as the series has progressed..

well this is much more like an England ODI performance..

early wkts..middle order madness..KP left as our only hope of a decent target..

Umpire has made a howler there

He definitely needs someone to help him with ODIs. If he plays Tests, he won't have the opportunities to go back and play domestic one dayers. England have to fill in that gap for him.

So what's all this, then? Is The Oval turning round corners today? Madness indeed.

england running between the wkts is madness..

just self-destructing here..

like wright is a confident chappy..nice six..

with wright and Dimi @ 8 &9 we have some really fire-power down the order..

geez! wft is this guy doing batting at 8 !! he looks GOOOOOOD

he's owning the spinners..

Might have something to do with the fact that he's actually an opener :p

My god is he fast with his feet though, picking up the ball and getting into position almost instantly it seems. Don't know much about him though so no idea if thats his normal way.

I can see England getting up to 300 and India surrendering meakly in this game.

How the hell do we manage to let teams of the hook after having them on the mat.
114/7 at Manchester, we let them off the hook,
83/4 and we are allowing them to get up to around 300.

Iam very worried with this trend.
