India in England Jun-Sept 2014

He he he..... India on a roll here! Looks like my prediction could turn out correct (that of India being all out today).
can you try sayiong that kohli and MSD get a hundred here and see if that comes true [HASHTAG]#desperation[/HASHTAG]

Fantastic! I just can't take this anymore.... :facepalm I'm done with this series here. Everytime I post something really pessimistic in the hope that India will prove me wrong. But this is so darn painful!

I dont friggin' care if Dhoni scored a 71 in the first innings when others failed around him. He has made many blunders for a long time now, and its the psychological aspect also of his captaincy under which India continue to play as bad as this. The team just loses steam and gives up hope so quickly that you can only blame the leader for it (since he leads the pack). If only England stood in there for 20 more minutes on that final day at Lord's, this series could have been as big a washout as 2011 was.

india would probably be better playing their under 19s tbh

For me in the history of PC, negative jinx has most often worked. And what you are saying is the stuff of fantasy.

And there you go! The biggest failure of this series - VIRAT KOHLI!:lol

Again whts the fixation with Dhoni ... the batsman cannot bat 30 overs on a flat wicket with England one bowler short and you want to blame Dhoni ...? And it takes a winning mentality to win away, but what abt the wins at home. The guy has won us, the World T20, 50 over WC, CT, been #1 in Tests, what more can the guy do?

Most of those wins you are throwing out here are ODI tournaments. I am not even remotely questioning Dhoni's captaincy in ODI's. I am ONLY TALKING ABOUT HIS TEST CAPTAINCY! Dhoni to me is an ODI legend! I am a massive fan of the guy in ODI's, only next to my love for Sachin Tendulkar. But he has been massively incompetent in test cricket, be it with captaincy or with the bat. No captain would survive a 8-0 whitewash overseas, Dhoni survived it and beyond and is still being part of so many overseas defeats (and that too painful defeats like this) without being questioned at all. He is immovable to the point where you can say he has a monopoly.

And always, overseas wins will be given more weight than home wins due to the challenging conditions. For us always, winning overseas is what matters. Today Saurav Ganguly is considered India's greatest captain ever because he (along with people like Dravid, Laxman, Tendulkar) changed India's fortunes overseas. There have been lot of instances in the past where captains have been sacked after overseas series defeats. Dhoni is a very rare instance where a captain was not sacked even after a 8-0 whitewash. And seeing our results post the retirement of seniors, the margin of defeat has changed but we continue to play/lose badly.

Dhone to score 400 whilst Ashwin will remain not out on 269. Moeen Ali gets a bad injury and won't be able to play for the last few days.
