India tour of Australia - 2018/19

20 runs last wicket partnership ... God damn it ! so annoying

Bring back Bumrah

Why not bowl Yorkers to these tailenders? It suits best against them in limited overs, it should do the trick in tests too.

287 to win - 36 runs last wicket partnership has collapsed all hopes of a miracle

Yikes! 36 runs for the last wicket. How crucial will that prove to be? Just when you think for once India will wipe the tail off quickly, Starc and Hazlewood spoil it for us. I'm afraid it's too big of an ask for this batting line up to get 250+ batting last.

haha ... KL gone.

What a delivery that was. Ridonkulous movement of the pitch
--

Never mind .. he played on. Poor poor misjudgment from Rahul

Yeah, we all know well what shall come next...

Pujara also gone. 1-1 seems inevitable unless some magic from Kohli with support from the rest of the batting order.

Kohli is out and suddenly no one is posting :p

I was watching. Biggest positive out of this test match is Rahane's batting. Biggest weakness is the captaincy and the selection blunders. Goti has to go after the 2019 world cup. To be honest, if we are struggling to beat this Aussie side minus their two best batters, it makes for pretty poor reading.

I think our attitude towards playing spin has become horrendous. We are either timid or absolutely reckless. There's no balance.

Nothing of surprise here. How often have we seen India go down after a high? I've lost count. It seems as if an inspirational win is almost certainly followed by a deplorable loss. We have seen it 3 times this year itself (SA, Eng and now Aus). Nothing new, but nothing done to improve it either.

Paine will have the last laugh. That's the problem with big talk. You end up on the wrong end if you can't back it up with results.

Not exactly tomorrow but surely by Tuesday morning it will be 1-1.
So this is turning out to be true the way I predicted ............. One more wicket and the long tail is exposed , Australia should wrap this up by Tommorow morning if not for a fightback from the last recognized pair.

Great bowling by M Shami. :clap 6 for him till now and can make it a 7.

I reckon around 260 will be the target for India and it will be a tough one and with Pujara, Virat and Rahane also getting in the form it is turning out to be an interesting match.

I think kits time to look beyond Rahul. Prithvi Shaw is fine but we need a good defensive batsman like Pujara for opening. Any guesses?
