India tour of South Africa

A lot of you Indians seem to have little hope in Rohit and Dhawan, both these players are natural stroke-makers with decent test averages - might be whats needed on this pitch.

Strokemakers against 125 kph trundlers on flat low tracks. When there is anything reasonably big at stake, they fail. The last time a game of cricket actually meant something (CT final), look how they performed. Both of them, Rohit in particular, has been miserable overseas.

Its one of those pitches were just hanging in won't make a massive difference. Its better to play shots (ala his boundary in the first over against Philander) than just defend and wait for the poor ball

Rohit at the expense of Rahane is where we are frustrated. Rahane is too good a player to be left out overseas no matter how poor his form was before the start of this series. He should have been given at least first test.

Another emotional review taken by Philander and De Kock :facepalm Really surprised not to see Rahane play ... he honestly enjoy the South African conditions ... better than for us that he isn't playing :D Would also have like to see Bhuvi getting the chance to get his fiver ...[DOUBLEPOST=1515166252][/DOUBLEPOST]Philander strikes ... Would like to see us getting another two wickets before the close of play.

And all that talk about Dhawan and Vijay is the one to leave first.

Although, most likely India will most likely survive this barrage with a couple down, it's tomorrow morning that is the worry. Pitch tends to flatten out in the evening session.

Welcome back Steyn.. come on Phalaborwa Express get Pollock's record now already would you :clap

There you go! Both openers in the hut. And Kohli comes out without sending a nightwatchman. If one of Kohli and Pujara get out today, I would say we will be bundled out for below 100 tomorrow. We don't have the batting to do rearguard stuff like what South Africa did today.

I have a worrying feeling that Kohli might not last the session if he attempts to attack either of the bowlers this early.

Really, Dhawan?

Both wickets gifted... Simply gifted... Ughhh

It's better Kohli came on. Else we would be sending more than 1 nightwatchman.

Ahh... So Kohli hasnt really sorted his weakness after all. Oh dear.. This series is done right there with that shot
