Rohit at the expense of Rahane is where we are frustrated. Rahane is too good a player to be left out overseas no matter how poor his form was before the start of this series. He should have been given at least first test.
Rohit Sharma now? If so, will he even survive today?
Even if he does so, he will be eaten alive tomorrow.
Aah, now with no Rahane we are going to be bundled out very quickly. Pujara to be the lone warrior till the end.
I have a worrying feeling that Kohli might not last the session if he attempts to attack either of the bowlers this early.
Yeah agreed. It is just that Kohli's overall record is so unreal, people including us tend to ignore the fact that he too has to prove himself in testing conditions like these. And tbh from reading cricbuzz it seems as if the ball hasn't been doing much, it is just some hesitant batting from the Indians. Nervousness maybe?I have a genuine question. If Kohli fails for 4 innings this series, will he be dropped from the team in England? If not where is the consistency in selection policy.
Kohli has a lot to prove in testing conditions overseas as well.
We just need spmeone to bat alongside Pujara.
Bhuvi has a better technique than Pandya.I am having some hope in Saha and Ashwin. I doubt Pandya has anything in him to counter these conditions.
I was actually clapping at Dhawan's dismissal and gearing up for a big failure from Rohit Sharma tommorow. There is too much of this aggression crap being thrown around by this team management. You win test matches in tough conditions if you have the skill to fight out and battle. You cannot just waltz through and win. All the talk is alright but test cricket has its tempo for a reason. Shastri and Kohli were high on something when they made these choices. I repeat again. They did this with Pujara and had to repent. It was only after Kumble became coach that Pujara got the backing of the management. Back comes Shastri. Look at who are the players under threat in the test side -- Rahul, Vijay, Rahane and Yadav. Amazing. I hate to say this but this is one of the few times that I'm getting joy out of seeing some of these guys fail. Sheer arrogance. The only guys I want to do well are Pujara, Saha, Shami and Bhuvi. This, coming from a die-hard follower of Indian cricket.
