India tour of South Africa

More than anything, I really wanted to see Umesh bowling in SA. Such a pity he didn't.

I think same thing as last match will happen. SAF will successfully get the lead, put our batters under pressure and they will succumb under pressure leaving too few runs for the bowlers to defend. Then a couple of early wickets will give a sniff of hope before ABD will counter attack and seal the whitewash

Rabada's runs are starting to look a lot

So looking like a 3 day finish and the players can peacefully watch them to go under the hammer on the 27th and 28th.

Match is slipping out of India's hands through Amla's very fine innings here. He is batting superbly here and he should seal the whitewash on us.

I would bring back Bhuvi here in an attempt to finish things before SA get into a lead. 2 wkts remaining with SA still 7 runs away. Shami has looked very ordinary here. Kumar needs to wrap it up.

Shami and Bumrah looking really terrible here with their run leaks. Where the heck is Bhuvi to finish things off? This is not a T20 or ODI where Bumrah's finishing skills can be used. Rubbish captaincy this!

Bumrah will now be made to look like some superstar. A W of a full toss, leg side nick, one in the outfield and a straight ball which de Kock missed for some reason. FAF was a good delivery.

The real star has been Bhuvi.

Parthiv opening. Might work but it shows the frankensteins that are part of our leadership group. :facepalm

Is there any chance of the wicket getting better to bat as the match processes with the heat from the sun coming out and burning out the green tinges?

Parthiv did the job!!!! 16 off 15 balls? Wow.

Vijay needs to play a Pujara-type innings here and soak all the pressure. He needs to show that he has not lost that game which made him so successful outside India last time we toured.

You have to feel for him. They're absolutely decimating his career.
