I tried to pick players who are excruciatingly favoured by either Kohli or Rohit. I don't think Shubman or Axar would be in those categories. And some of the outside picks were just because of how much IPL they have played together or were selected in the team. Iyer was put with Rohit just because he plays for Mumbai in domestic like Rohit.

Why are we even playing?

WI aren't the best team to start off World Cup prep against. They clearly have been impacted by the non inclusion in the World Cup. Performances by them again, arent worthy of India sending a full strength squad. Betting that a state team like Karnataka, Mumbai could whitewash them. India should, perhaps in future send a team like Goa, North East Zone to make it a bit competitive.

Secondly,Mr Dravid, please quit asap. Why are you changing the batting order months before a World Cup? If Rohit and other seniors didn't want to tour, you should have kept them at home instead of making changes like you did during your tenure. Kishan and Gill opening, are they going to be your 1st choice openers? What;s the idea with Rohit and Kohli not batting? Are we going to see them opening the bowling next game?

Third, chasing 114 with 5 wickets down is hardly something to gloat over. We are in shambles and the quicker we accept,the better it is. I also hope Hardik doesnt captain the 3rd game here.
