If CSK had cared to keep those dot balls down, we could've scored 10 more runs here to go to 175+.

Still a total that can be defended with the excess bowling options that we've today. Hope Dhoni does not hide Jadeja against left handers and continues the positive approach and bowls him more. I would bowl Piyush Chawla in the Powerplay today against Warner and Bairstow.

Cant blame Dhoni today. Showed the intent. Its weird that SRH got the big wickets today off full tosses.

Good score for CSK. I still feel Bravo won't bat more than 6-7 balls on average in a game. Tahir will bowl 24. Bravo will pick garbage wickets, Tahir will pick gun wickets.

Bravo is a bowler these days, calling him an all-rounder is very generous. That 2018 knock versus Mumbai has unfortunately made people think that he can be serviceable with the bat when even back then he was nothing more than barely useful.

Yep. Get Tahir in for Bravo and get back a batsman in for either of Chawla or Karn depending on who goes well with the ball today.

CSK finally have an opportunity this season, to bowl at a time when batting has generally been challenging. Hope the dew does not decide to show up and shock us all. Fingers crossed!

I think this is a very good score. We all know running between the wickets is a weakness of CSK but it more than makes up with their mental fortitude. A spirited performance or two will completely change course and their season will take shape.

The biggest thing today is that MS has spinning options today to manoeuvre the game around as per his liking.

I will repeat - It's about 2/3 wickets from here and "Dad's army" could well and truly be the strongest one again.

Hope Deepak Chahar can provide early break throughs. Even one wicket up front will set it up beautifully.

Sandeep and Nadeem were just way too outstanding today. That attempted catch of Dhoni by Sandeep would have been so good if he had held on. Scared me a bit because of the coming out of the physio. Hope he is all right

A bit odd that they've not really gone after some of the more obvious targets so far. Chennai's strength lies in choking the opposition towards the death especially when they have seven bowling options.

Yeah, did not really understand the circumspect approach from Bairstow considering the slowness of the wicket, despite the loss of two early wickets. They needed a quick start to be in with a chance with such a long tail
