India's Tour of Sri Lanka

Considering that we are defending 249, the period after the 2nd wicket till now seems too long. We need a wicket soon (would love it if its Sangakkara).

Well, Harbhajan Singh is giving the breakthrough, because he got two wickets in his last two overs.

ARRRRGHHH!

LBW appeal, not out, review. It was clearly out, yet the third umpire gave it not out!:mad::mad:

These are the sort of times where I want to just throw my bat at the TV screen.

How was it not out. Struck the pad first, height wasn't an issue, hit him in line of off stump, no question of it going down leg.

This againg Indian middle order gets more frail by the series. Dravid needs to retire immediately since he hasn't done well in a very long time. Ganguly, and Laxman should get one more series to prove themselves, then decide.

Oh dear, our reserve keepers are both shocking under pressure.

Well not bad at all from india. After the first session, I had resigned myself to getting up in the morning and seeing the SL score at some 320+ (or even 350) by the end of the day with just 2-3 wickets down. But India have done quite well to keep the lead down to just 2 runs now with 4 wkts remaining.

I knew this was Sangakkara's game (have been quite lucky with my judgments in the past few days:eek:). Got to restrict them to a lead of less than 50 (since they bat last, a lead of 50 is manageable).

Was Parthiv bad today behind the stumps? Didnt follow the game

Regulation stuff was fumbled quite a bit, however, he did makes some good dives. But we'll just put that down as a bad day, let's see how he does for the rest of the match.

Sanga needs to get 150 and Prasanna should get a 30+ score, if that happens SL will be in strong position

Tendulkar had a swelling in the left elbow joint, confirmed by an MRI scan. His elbow movements are not comfortable at present. MRI scans performed on Laxman showed he had a sprained left ankle and was still unable to bear full weight on it. Ishant has has a right glutues muscle contusion confirmed by an MRI and is also unable to bear weight on that side. Patel , who had a minor cut on his nose, was kept under observation overnight and was passed fit to keep wickets.

Well that's it. Sri Lanka should win it given these turn of events. If these guys can't play India will have to forfeit yes?
