India's Tour of Sri Lanka

But he's a great player of spin and hit Murali for a six.

Dravid's looking solid, his confidence seems to be slowly returning. I just hope he doesn't go into his shell again. . .

wow terrible shot from ganguly wow when ever indian batsman are set they give their wickets away i stoped watching omg

Prasad is not an ordinary bowler! well i hope Gangu and Dravid get to double digits at least :D

Actually He is ordinary Bowler. You will find it when Srilanka will play with Australia or South Africa or even with India(But when India's middle order will be in form).
Don't follow the FC stats unless Player is playing in Australian Domestics.
Vass is 1000 time better than Prasad though Indian batsman choosing only Prasad to give their wickets. ;)

Unless Laxman and Dravid can provide some of their Adelaide/Kolkata magic, mankind as we know it will end. :(

Already 5 down. Match will be over by tea tomorrow.

Tendlya gets 95 runs in 6 innings. :p So much for the record.

It is time for Tendulkar, Dravid, Ganguly and Laxman to quit. It is time for the youngsters to step in, and even though I am not saying they would have fared any better atleast they would have had the experience a very tough series against a SL side that is so strong at home. Something that would have helped them maybe perform better in the next tour of SL. I dont see any of the 4 mentioned players playing in that next tour, and by that time, the current youngsters would be much older, and would struggle because of their lack of experience against SL bowlers on SL pitches.

It depends what you mean by 'youngsters'.

The players that are currently in the ODI team - Yuvraj Singh, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli (shouldn't be there in the first place) etc I feel aren't suited at all for the test game, at least for the moment.

Badrinath is knocking at the door and is about to kick it down, but the selectors seem to turn a blind eye every time he gets runs.

It's a tough task, playing Sri Lanka in Sri Lanka. Especially with the new factor of Mendis, even after reviewing his deliveries and such it must be hard to pick down there in the middle. We've handled everyone else decently well.

You've got to remember that Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, and VVS Laxman have all had good tournaments before this, and we can't kick them out after one three match series. Dravid has had a tough year, but still I feel is a dominant batsman in world cricket.

Even if the fab four call it a day, our dumb selectors need to pick the right guys to fill the enormous boots in the middle order.

Badrinath needs to come into the test team. May be give Yuvraj another chance. Retain Laxman and Tendulkar (he is such a great player that he can be excused for this series!) and we should be a better off
