Update: Stumps Day Two
Leicestershire restricted Somerset to just 113 from 49 overs as well as taking 3 wickets inlcuding international starts Trescothick and Langer. Langer made a difficult start and struggled to find timing, eventually a miss timed Pull was his downfall when he picked out Darren Masters at Square Leg. This wicket brought Hildreth to the crease who hit a blistering 49 as well as offering support to Trescothick who was finding it difficult. However Trescothick could only make 20 before he departed in the same fashion as Langer but this time Amjad took the Catch. It was Amjad who was to take the final wicket of the day when he had Hildreth caught at Mid off for 49. This wicket has brought to fresh players to the crease with the pressure definetly on.

Update: Lunch Day Three
Somerset lost a further 4 wickets as Leicestershire piled on the pressure in the opening session of day three. CL White offered resistance from day two into three but fell for 52 after gloving to Robinson at first slip. This wicket came after the loss of Blackwell who wofted at a wide delivery to find the edge to Amjad at thrid slip. These wickets proved costly and when Trego and Spurway fell cheaply it left Somerset in a situtation where the follow on was likely.

Update: End of Innings Day Three
Somerset recovered from a terrible position to scoring 415 and avoiding the follow on in the process. W Durston top scored with 94 including a massive partnership with the expierenced Caddick who also added 85. Both Batsmen came to the crease a difficult time but both looked settled and the pitch was looking a lot slower. Eventually Caddick was dismissed after being clean bowled. He was followed straight after by Jones who got a first ball duck. However Somerset were able to push past the follow on mark before Durston fell for 94.

Update: End of Innings Day Four
Leicestershire amassed 174 before declaring at 11:43am on Day four. D Robinson top scored with 38 and a quick blast from Nixon and Amjad at the end of the innings got them quick runs and hopefully plenty of time for a result in this match. Somerset now face the challenge of chasing 323 to win on a tired Grace road wicket which has lost all the pace seen in the first innings. For Leicestershire they're will alot of pressure on the spinners with Amjad and Sadler likely to bowl. However with no specialist spinner thye might be in trouble.
To be honest, i am not that much fan of county cricket except very few teams... But this top class presentation is really forcing me to follow this story.. Yet to go through this fully though. Will have an eye on this story from now on
And finally, Its because of Phil's comment in SOTM voting thread that pushed me into this thread. Keep up the great works :hpraise
Phil in SOTM voting thread said:
" really brilliant presentation that can sometimes go unnoticed with international stories filling the forums. "
Thanks for the reply, i understand that international stories get a larger following but very few county stories are done and i hoped to get them a bit more recognition thanks again for replies and comments
Hopefully more people will start their own county stories

Update: End of Match Day Four
Somerset completed a great victory when they scored the require 323 with 4 wickets remaining. They made an excellent start hitting 89 with the two openers before Sadler and his part time leg spin manage to dislodge Justin Langer. J Hildreth batted equally well hitting 40 before he was brillaintly stumped by nixon claiming Sadler his second wicket. However Leicestershire couldnt stop the runs flowing and when Trescothick and White reached 50 the game looked lost. However, Leicesterhsire continued and eventually Sadler got his third along with broad and Langeveldt picking up wickets.
We caught up with Robinson to get his views on the match he said "We batted so well in the first innings and after having them 250 odd for 7 we were thinking we could have the game wrapped up early in day three. But we were to easy on the tail and they got past the follow on and when we batted again we got runs quickly but our bowling just wasn't good enough." Somerset Captain then mentioned how "We knew after out first innings that we were still in the game and the pitch was slower and spin was going to be important. We knew Leicester didnt have a good spin line up so if we batted sensibly we could get up to that target easily and thats whay we did."
Somerset won by 4 wickets
