Mafia: Discussion, History and Waiting List Thread

14 will be a bit too many if you do it for newbies. I would want to be in it as I've been sitting out a few games. If you can get the number to somewhere around 10-12...

Sweet. Will make it a 12 man theme then. Now, I just need someone who isn't playing to have a quick look at the roles and give their feedback on the balance.

Initially, yes. But as the game progresses, it lynches people based on 'clues'. it terms that type of lynch as a 'clue' lynch. Day 1 and 2 generally involve 'random' lynches and kills.

Interesting. But I guess that would make it useful for newbie games only. Because only in those games you can treat most players on an equal footing, and expect most of them to play simple.

I would like to look at the roles if you want. :)

I'd like to give newbies a chance. :spy

The point of newbie games is basic dynamics with inexperienced players. If it's too big then the inexperienced players are likely to get trodden underfoot and lynched off first.

My other suggestion is wait til there have been a few deaths in conspiracy 365 mafia; then people who are out can sign up.

Or or you can ask Colin to help you with the game. This guy hardly needs any time to prepare the updates. :p

Using Maths for mafia games. The epitome of coolness :thumbs

Lol, just go by your own hunch Haari. It's not that tricky.

Done with all the roles and role PMs. PM'd them to Varun, waiting only on his feedback now. After which I'll open the thread for my game. Again reiterating that it'll be a 12 man newbie game.

Haha fair enough, but I really want him to play instead of modding.

Loved running this game, albeit being one sided. :p Anyone up for more newbie games running sideways?
