New Zealand in England May - June 2013

Not sure why the Broad hate like he's suddenly crap? He's barely had two bad tours since he was the leading wicket taker in Test Cricket for the year averaging around 20 odd...

Sports fans have short memories :lol

Good news Indians. The Test series between New Zealand and England which starts tomorrow will be aired on Neo Prime.

Bad toss to lose, especially with Swanny out. Though Monty certainly won't mind being able to bowl last.

Will need a good solid start with the bat to set up the rest of the series today. Here's hoping Cook carries on his marvellous form and England can find a way to get 400+ on the board and give themselves a massive chance to win this only batting once.

Rain and Bad Light on the first morning of a Test match. It's just like playing Test Cricket in England in, well..... March.

Graeme Swann ruled out of the entire series and will fly to America to have surgery on his troublesome elbow. Apparently faces a race now to be fit for the Champions Trophy perhaps in June. Massive blow, that.

I was really looking forward to getting into bed and watching the first session whilst I dozed off. Very frustrated!

Not making the Champions Trophy isn't a massive blow. It's about as prestigious as winning a school raffle, or the Scottish Premier League.

Why isn't as good as winning the World Cup? It's the same opponents.

Because it's a waste of time for everyone. Being scrapped again after this edition I think? Even if you win the Champions Trophy, you're not the World Champions, and you're not the best team in the world... so really, what's the point?

Why do they even bother playing Tests in Dunedin, especially in March. Give the South Island a T20I or an ODI where it doesn't matter as much if they get cancelled, and play the Tests in Auckland, Hamilton, Napier, and Wellington. Maybe in Jan/Feb, but the weather is more often than not going to deteriorate down there around now.

There's more point in it than 5 match ODI series' between the same two teams.

You shouldn't have bad light at the start of play...

The ground doesn't even have lights... :lol
