This has been a wonderful renaissance for the Sri Lankan team. Dimuth Karunaratne have been really good since the South Africa Test series and probably it was right to appoint him the Captain in atleast 2 of the 3-formats. He actually must be given a long go. I am sure he would take Sri Lankan Cricket a long way ahead. Sri Lankan teams looks so different all of a sudden under his leadership.

Amidst all the Ashes hooplah, NZ has gone ahead and scored a critical win against SL in SL. 60 points from an AWAY series in the subcontinent is a BIG DEAL in context of the Test Championship

And what a win that was. I think most of us were looking forward to a drawn match but just within the couple of sessions they bowled out Sri Lanka on a meagre 120 odd and secured an innings victory.
