Right, that's everyone besides me for the final pick in the Draft? Everyone has legitimate picks now, and for some reason my maths don't add up in the index. I'm up a player, but I'll try to see where the mistake was made on my part when I'm both away from caffeine without coffee and have actually gotten more than 6 hours of sleep undisturbed.
I'll finish up my XI with
Nicola Browne from the Kiwis. Like I mentioned earlier on in this thread, and
@Aislabie hinted to, genuine pace bowlers in the Women's game are really hard done by. Spinners dominate by a large fraction. But what Browne had going for her was height - at 180cm (rather high for a woman) she was by far one of the tallest players on the field in any game she played. That height alone led to awkward bounce that got batters into all sorts of difficulties. Then you can add the raw pace - by most reports she's a genuine fast bowler. More of a handy player with the bat rather than an out-and-out batter, she's still able to score valuable runs in the lower order. A quickfire 15 or 20 runs, like I've said, can make the difference between an average score and a winning one. So I'm glad that I'm able to have her to complete my XI.
1. Mithali Raj
2. Stafanie Taylor

4. Dane van Niekerk
5. Katey Martin
6. Sune Luus
7. Georgia Wareham
8. Jenny Gunn
9. Nicola Browne
10. Nahida Akter
11. Megan Schutt
Thanks to everyone for participating in the Draft and thanks for all the opinions and ideas. This is the first Draft that has featured women as far as I know, and I think we've done a pretty decent first effort at it. Hopefully there will be more Drafts with women in the future.
A special thanks to
@ahmedleo414 for monitoring things and tagging people when it was their time.
@Yash. for updating the index when real life got in the way, even though his own real life started to push its weight near the end.
@Aislabie for just being him and using the VARP when he could.
@mohsin7827 for this being, I believe, one of his first Drafts. Hope to hear more from you in the future dude.
I'll finish updating the index, give my analysis on everyone's team, and hopefully pick a best-of-the-rest (there are quite a few players who have been overlooked) over the next couple of days. Thanks again everyone, this was my first Draft that I've run, and it was pretty damn memorable.
