What is this game- night match ? The second innings starts at 22:15 hours. This means that the game will very well run into the night- end around 0200 hours

Was there a delay with this match -cause I remember watching earlier -Sharjah games used to start slightly earlier.

The games are starting late because of the heat. When the time was 7 at Sharjah it was 43 degrees.

And Pakistan looking good right now, with 3 wickets gone. Spinners are doing a good job now.

Yep he did very well. Clarke, Bailey and Maxwell really did the business in those middle overs after Ajmal got the Hussey bros. Ended up being a good win for the Aussie boys

As an Aussie fan I'm saying the opposite! I hope we play an extra fast bowler so that we can keep up the brilliance of Starc and Pattinson. Still not convinced with the Christian at #8 idea, in fact I HATE it. Johnson, Starc and Pattinson can ALL bat, why do we need a batsman at #8?? Play Doherty instead, or give Alastair McDermott a game.

They will give one of those players a start, as they are testing out everything right now. It was such a close game, Pakistan spin bowlers were all gone and couldn't do anything. Next game in Abu Dhabi predication?

I don't think they need Johnson either unless they bat him at 7 and get shot of Christian. I realise this isn't a fair comment, it might just be his face, but for such an ordinary player Christian looks so arrogant.

Maxwell has some way to go before being a more than average spin bowler, but I would think they'll give him a fair few matches. Look how many chances Steve Smith has had.
