Scut Muller beats every single fast bowler i'm afraid. :p

This is getting spammy now, maybe we should talk about the inclusion of Hoggard, who had been desperatley out of form in this serie.

Hoogard bowled well until the last test, where the only wickets he picked up were of our openers. Other than that I'd say he's been a bit unlucky (making him the only English player of this series :p).

Anyway, why change a winning team?

Your theory is true I suppose, and although he has been out of form, he has gotten the first breakthrough for us countless amount of times. As long as Lewis doesn't play i'll be happy.

McGrath was better by far in my opinion, but that doesn't belong in this thread, and the last thing I want to do is cause a Akram vs McGrath debate.

Iqbal gets a game does he? Looks like KP can re-aquaint their rivalry.
All my respect for McGrath and Aussies.

Here it comes..

Wasim Akram was the greatest Bowler ever! :D
500 ODI wickets!

ODI's are a distraction, Tests are the true 'test' of a players skill.

Lewis has impressive FC stats, but test cricket doesn't seem to be his thing.

Exactly, there is a big difference between County and Country.

Glenn McGrath has 542 Test match wickets, 'nuff said.

Anyway, this really shouldn't be debated in this thread, let's get back on topic.

According to Cricinfo, Asif is set for a return for action. Whether this is good for Pakistan or not, it's an interesting decision. The last thing Pakistan want is for him to pull-out during the game and be a bowler short.

414 Test wickets,

^^ tells you all
You don't wanna get into statistics between Akram and McGrath, you'll surely lose.

As I've said before, Asif's injury was nowhere near as serious as Rana Naved's or Akhtar's. That said playing him will still be a gamble.

He did. :D

Akram is a true great don't get me wrong; When he was in his prime he was one of the best bowlers who ever lived, but McGrath has the most wickets, no one can argue with that.

Hey watch When McGrath leaves his average will be same as Akram, OK I'm notbacking a Pakistani player, just look at some of his matches.

Averages are nothing special, it's wickets that are important, and McGrath has over 100 more and he's still going..

And Sureshot, that's why i'm looking forward to Tres butchering him.

evo some time ago you said 'Averages are nothing special' then you agree with Sureshot... something is cooking ;) ;) ;) ;) :p:p:p........
