evo some time ago you said 'Averages are nothing special' then you agree with Sureshot... something is cooking ........

Oh yeah, i'm a hypocrite! But what I meant was that you can't compare McGrath and Akram on their averages beacause they are very simiar. However, a fast bowler averaging over 30 isn't anything to be fearful of.

Its a shame they are not able to play both Shoaib and Naved in this test match. It would have been good to get them some match practise and they would be set to go in the ODIs. Now lets see if Asif plays or not. I would have liked Pakistan to try out some young talent from the U-19 team, when key players were injured, the younger ones could have perhaps made use of the opportunity and made a good start.......

I would like to see the under 19 guy who swung the ball 2 yards and reduced india to 9-6, he was absolutely stunning.

Yeah Anwar Ali and Jamshed were the two bowlers who performed really well iirc.

Good for pakistan. Shahid Nazir and Gul should keep there places as they did really well at headingley.

Finally Pakistan have given up on the useless Sami. Shame for England though, I would have loved him to pay in the final Test.
