It's very interesting, what with Pace Bowling being glorified everywhere. In Sami, there's a guy who bowls 90 mph per hour, yet he has disappointed so much.
Accuracy it seems is very important for a pace bowler. Without consistent accuracy, pace seems to be ineffective.

Sami has averaged about 86MPH in his 3 tests.

Need to dry the outfield irottev. :p

Although I don't mind us batting with a wet ball.

Zub, don't read too much into those first 2 balls against Tres, he does that vs anyone, he even did it against Sami ;)

well it lloks like its going to be a start stop day but you never know with the weather

If I remember correctly, didn't he get bowled 5th ball to Akhtar in Faisalabad when shouldering arms?

not too sure on that cant remember. i do remember the yourker that took out ashley giles

Asif is bowling very well, shows what pakistan have been missing. Still a flat pitch that helps.

I woldn't go as far as calling him a chukker, but his action does look a bit dodgy. Shabbir Ahemd got punished for less.

Drew don't be a fool his action is perfectly fine.

It'll just start arguments, well done for editing it though.

Early lunch taken, play starts at 1:30PM.

If Sky show Wasim Akram on 'Pioneers of Cricket' one more time i'm going to be mad. I get it, he's a legend of the game! Stop telling me that! Find some more players to document on.

Oh no, now they are showing Laker's 19 wickets again, gosh Sky needs some new material. I want Channel 4 back.

back on or cricinfo it seems that mohammed asif is bowling great

I'm impressed with him, but he's mostly bowled at an out-of-form Trescothick, but still, he's bowled well.
