what was the catch like

It looked to be a very good catch, but I haven't seen any close up shots so i'm not sure if it carried. He's out though, so no point worrying over it.

Trescothick was really struggling out there. A good thing Sami isn't playing, otherwhile it would have been about 80/0 by now after the 19th over.

Asif gets the edge of Strauss and Akmal holds on, England 54/2 and on the back foot. Maybe Pietersen attacking Asif is what we need.

And Asif gets his first wicket in England. :clap Very big difference between Asif and Sami.

Wow! Pietersen is gone for a duck and Asif is on a hattrick!

Dear me, we need Cook and Colly to fire again. Still, bowling Asif for ten straught overs will take it's toll in the latter stages of the match.

it shows that if pakistan had there bowlers it may be a very change in the score then 2-0 down

Asif and Gul had two breaks between all the ten overs they've bowled. It shouldn't be a problem so far for them.

I think either Cook, Collingwood or Bell will pull out England again out of trouble.

See, Asif just needed 2 balls to do it! :D
We surely missed him, and if we didn't have the injuries! :)
Well, series is lost. Just think of the OD Series and forget this.
But typical my luck. I have been watching since the start of play and nothing happened. Last hour finally a wicket and I was still watching and nothing happened.
So my brother called me to show me something and I watched it for 1 minute and came back. England 54-3!
This is so typical my luck! :D

You cant be sure that all of the absentees of Pakistan would guarantee you a good performance. Need I remind you that England aren't full strength either?

first of all i am indian not pakistani secondly i know that england are missing players but i think that if pakistan had there players england may have been in more trouble

Asif gets Collingwood. He is doing the damage just as I was expecting from him. :)

asif is doing good still lot of work but england in big trouble at moment lucky he was not in 1st and 2nd test and 3rd test

I never accused you of being Pakistani mate. I agree with you, but Pakistan would also have been in more trouble if we had our players back.

Apart from Flintoff, I don't think that Simon Jones, Vaughan and Ashley Giles are big difference makers. I saw only Jones making his mark in the Ashes, but apart from that I didn't notice anything. The 'replacements' are doing good enough and even better then them.

For Pakistan Shoaib Malik has established himself as an opener, Rana Naved is an useful ODI bowler and about Shoaib Akhtar everybody remembers, when England toured in Pakistan, he change the match.

It looks like Cook has settled himself.

Simon Jones, James Anderson and Michael Vaughan are all key players for England. The fact that they aren't in the squad makes this series victory a nice acheivment. If Rana Naved is a useful ODI bowler, then what does that have to do with the Test series?
