He played well, but how many more times, he is an average batsman who occasionally does well!! Stop trying to wind up James, next time you do I'll delete your post.

I'm watching 'Pioneer's of Cricket' as it is being showed during the lunch break on Sky. It's interesting to see that Waqar Younis speaks very good English, and he seems to be a nice man behind his fast bowler image.

I take it that all thes 'Pioneer's of Cricket' are just concerning the touring teams? Because I havn't seen an English one yet.

Evo Pioneer's of Cricket today it's about Waqar Younis Me thinks.

I can see that! I'm not blind! :p

OK good for you :p, I hope the English bowlers are watching it and gettying some lessons :D.

Well if Simon Jones wasn't injured we wouldn't need lessons in reverse-swing.

So should I say crap english bowling made romi get to 91 :D? MR JJ

Farhat is an average cricketer. Wouldn't be suprised if he gets dropped in the next 12 months permanantly.

Credit too him, he put the many bad balls we gave him away. There is no such thing as a bad 50, and certainly not a bad 91, but one innings doesn't make him a good player. As I said, average.

Yet highest score of match ;).

You clearly don't understand Usy, that one innings does not make a player a world beater. Farhat is nothing special, he averages 30 odd. I have given him the credit he deserves for this innings but your are way over the top saying he is a fantastic player.

Ok I'll see JJ3 when Farhat will be as Good as Saeed Anwar if you know who that was, ;) I'll ask the same question then.

Agreed. Alex Tudor once scored 99*in a Test, but I don't remember people calling him a fantastic batsman.

Monty's bowling Average is 30 too, why do people love him? I ask you

Yes I know who Saeed Anwar is, genious. I had the pleasure of watching him live on many occassions. He is the only stable opener Pakistan have had in the last 10 years or so. Farhat will never compare to him, too many floors in his technique.

Were not talking about how much we like/love players. We are talking about how you insist Farhat is a great player, which he isn't. I wouldn't say Monty is either. But Monty has more going for him than Farhat.

LOOk it's away for a six :D. Well I would say go and look at Farhat's First class record.
