LOOk it's away for a six :D. Well I would say go and look at Farhat's First class record.

Go look at Graeme Hick's First Class record, it's extraordinary, but that doesn't mean that he was a great International cricketer.

evo he played 60 odd test matches while Farhat 24 is still learning and only has played 20, godd saaake.

If age and experience is so important, then why is 21 year old Alistair Cooke averaging 50 and has 3 Test match centuries to his name?

Fighting a losing battle evo.

Kind of like our bowlers.

Pitch it up like their bowlers?

Nah.

In line with the stumps like their bowlers?

Nah.

Flipping hopeless.

For some reason Harmison still thinks that this pitch is Old Trafford. How many bouncers did Pakistan bowl? Almost none; I think all of their wickets were full balls, so why on earth are we trying to kill them with short balls?

Ok I'll see JJ3 when Farhat will be as Good as Saeed Anwar if you know who that was, ;) I'll ask the same question then.
Romi, go Homei! Then usy will stop thinking you're such a fantastic cricketer, when really you are young and average.

pakistan should make about 200 lead and then declare because rain may have a big effect on this game and that could lead to a draw. 200 lead would mean they need 300 just to get 100 lead so it would be hard for england

I just hope Mr.Rain puts in an exceptional performance for the remainder of this Test match. ;)

Why do rain interruptions always have a negative effect on our batsmen, but it does absolutley sod all to the opposition batsmen?

Oh puhhleeaase!!! Farhat can never as good as Saeed Anwar's left testicle. I hope he becomes good someday for the sake of the team, but he'll never be as good as Anwar, maybe Aamer Sohail.

Well if Simon Jones wasn't injured we wouldn't need lessons in reverse-swing.
Funny that you mention that, as Waqar Younis taught Simon Jones the art of reverse swing when they used to play together in Glamorgan. ;)

Interesting, I don't remember that. Maybe he should pop on down to Old Trafford and teach Jimmy to reverse it. ;)

Nope, he works for PCB now :D . On the same subject, guess where Flintoff learned reverse swing. From Wasim Akram in Lancashire when he captained the team.

Yeah true, I read it in his autobiography. Akram and Flintoff were very good mates as well, despite the fact that Flintoff dropped two catches on his debut off the bowling of Akram.

when did Waqar play for Glamorgan? Cos SiJo only learnt reverse swing last year :p.

One thing i don't get about reverse it's not hard to to swing it, its just about getting the ball in the right form. Give me a ball with a scuffed up and a shiny side and it'll probably reverse swing.

Learned it last year or mastered it? ;)

Actually I'm going by Akram's quote following the Ashes, where he said how Flintoff and SO Jones learned reversing it from Wasim and Waqar. He also went on to say that those two probably would've learnt it anyway.

That's nothing new for Akram. He played for Pakistan, remember? :p
