Ive seen evidence of pakistan cheating. Just not in this game.
I can only assume you are referring to the Afridi incident. I don't think many Pakistanis aren't ashamed of that incident. I personally have stopped supporting him altogether. He got a just suspension from the officials. He's one of the few overzealous cricketers left in and outside of Pakistan. Can we move on now?

Well on the subject of ODI's, here is my England line-up;

Marcus Trescothick
Mal Loye
Andrew Strauss
Kevin Pietersen
Paul Collingwood
Ian Bell
Jamie Dalrymple
Chris Read
Glen Chapple
Stuart Broad
Darren Gough

Some controversial inclusions but i'd be happy with that side. When is the England ODI squad announced by the way?

Why break up the Tresco-Strauss partnership?

Because they don't do that well in ODI's. They are excellent in Test matches but are lacking in ODI's.

Yeah but you know Woolmer will wanna play Malik for the match practice.

Fair enough, but who is this Loye fellow. Never heard of him.

i'm pretty sure Cook play in the one dayers..

Also don't think Bell is an ODI player..finds it hard to find the gaps and gets bogged down to easily.

Other than that i'd go for a similar line-up to yours..(might be a bit bowling light though)

Mal Loye is the Lancashire opener. Considering he's nearly 34 I don't think he's about to get an ODI call up.

For the people who are voting for Ian Bell over Strauss, could you please kindly point to me a single good knock that Bell played while under pressure?

I see.

Whatever happened to Prior?

Colin, he's in the champions trophy squad selceted last week..

Does seem an odd choice

he hit an 86 ball 140  a few days ago..

so they won't pick him

I can only live in hope.

On the subject of hope, I hope that Chapple and Broad share the new ball. It'd be a good mix of youth and experience, although they are both inexperienced at International level.

I just think their needs to be some allowance for fluidity with regards to applying the rules. It's something that won't be achieved though, because every person is different. :)

I expect the Pakistan team to come out guns ablazing against England in the ODIs. I would probably fancy them winning with dropping one game.

Who cares how old he is? If someone is good enough to play, he should play.

Exactly; England shouldn't use age as a defining factor in team selection.

This is who I think we'll pick to play, not who I would pick.

Trescothick
Cook
Strauss
Pietersen
Collingwood
Dalrymple
Read
Chapple
Saj Mahmood
Gough
Harmison
