You forgot to mention Rana ;) I don't see Pakistan getting out of this to be honest unless it is another Yousuf magic or an Inzi magic and rain is expected so that may help them, but still there are 3 days left in this test match. *COUGH* Australia :D

GoJo has go to go out of the test squad 8 runs today, and 6 of those came from a undecisive maximum were he nearly got out only for the Pakistani fielder not to be quite tall enough!

In a way I feel sorry for Jones. Until now, he's always looked pretty good but then got himself out, but now he looks so out of form you can't see where the next run is coming from.

What a great time to start typing. Harmison gets Akmal with a beauty, well taken by Jones with his dodgy finger! :D

There's no point in using the exscuse of not having Rana, Asif and Akhtar as your reason for not bowling out England, because then we can just say were without Flintoff and Jones and were still managing to bowl you out!

Jones has looked good with the gloves since last year but his batting has suffered. I am a firm believer though that all he needs is one 50 and he could make real progress with his batting at international level.

Panesar is bowling beautifully out there. It's such a shame that Giles will be straight back into the squad once he's fit again. And as for the not having Rana and Akthar excuse; tough luck; look at our injury list.

i think this match eng gonna win for sure.

I wouldn't write Pakistan off; Yousef and Khan are fighting well here, and Inzamam is in next.

I doubt it tbh. Panesar is fast making himself indispensable. They might play both but they're not going to drop him.

I wouldn't bet against Monty being dropped; Fletcher seems so obsessed with his bowlers batting, that he would drop the best spinner in England, for one of the worst. Maybe that's a bit harsh, but Panesar has showed in this test just how good a spinner he is.

Also, did anyone see that, 'What's in the Bag' feature during the lunch break then? It seems that Tresco always keeps his wicket keeper gloves with him, just in case Jones pulls up! I wonder if he'll use them today.

EDIT: Wow! What a start to the afternoon session for England. Yousef stumped first ball! Wonderfully bowled by Panesar and a great stumping by my man. For all the critics (including me) of his batting form of late, his keeping has been superb.

There have been a lot of arguments about Panesar, first of all with Dalrymple:

Dalrymple can bat, bowl and field

Panesar can only bowl

But also the Daily Telegraph said that Monty should be put ahead of Hoggard and Harmison in the batting order - very strange.

Panesar is my best bet though for the future, and to break the dreaded partnership of Younis Khan and Mohammed Yousuf.

Edit: Didn't I tell ya :D

Oh don't worry, he will.

I have something like this in mind for Inzi:

C&B Panesar

But it'll probably be:

50

I was thinking more along the lines of 350*! :p

EDIT: YES!! Inzi is gone! Caught of his boot and Panesar has 3 wickets! Come on England.

So much for my prediction.

What's that coming over the hill? Is it a Mont-ster? Is it a Mont-ster?

3 for Monty so far and they don't come much bigger than Inzi and Yousuf - two players our seamers have been totally unable to dismiss over the last three years!
