If we had Michael Vaughan, Simon Jones, Andrew Flintoff and James Anderson things may have been different too.

Not really, you still have your captain and we don't. You aren't missing the best All-rounder in the world either.

No, we just wouldn't play Plunkett or Mahmood.

Mohammad Asif 240.1 45 788 25 31.52 5-56 2 0 (Overs, Maidens, Runs, Wickets, Average, Best, 5fors, 10WM)

His record for Leics this season

Ali, The Oval is not too dissimilar to Old Trafford.

errrr..... Flintoff?

And Jones and Vaughan.

And then as back up Jimmy.

I'd say they're pretty similar.

Well Mushtaq Ahmed isn't actually injured, he just can't get into the team.
Ironic this morning that Pakistan bowled the best they've done all tour and England end up 121/0.

Always good for spin bowlers as well (mainly Saqlain Mushtaq in recent years).

I was amazed that England were going at 6 an over after the first 10 overs. It seemed like Pakistan were on top because they bowled superbly.

Tresco has made the most of his luck, and I reckon he will get a 100 today.

Yeah, but the thing is that England is performinc well without these players.
I am not trying to make any excuse that "England are winning because of the injuries we have". Don't get me wrong..
It's just that it's a big miss for Pakistan since our reserves are so crap...
