Salman Falls as Malik and Nazir Steady the Ship​

The Innings has started but not very nicely for Pakistan. The early wicket has taken Pakistan by surprise, and tight bowling is causing some tension in the Pakistani fans. Salman Butt was the victim as his wrist flick went straight to Watts who gets D.Nel his first wicket. Shoaib Malik came in next and with Nazir steadied the ship.

Nazir And Malik Steady The Ship.​

After Salman Butt's quick dismissal, Imran Nazir and skipper Shoaib Malik got singles and a couple of boundaries to steady the ship. Imran was playing in a very aggressive manner smashing Malone for 13 in one over. As the required run rate got below four, Pakistan lashed out. As they did, they paid the consequence as Shoaib Malik fell getting caught by Majid Haq just inside the boundary.

The next man to come in was Boom Boom Afridi. However Imran Nazir tried to slog-sweep a googly by B.Malone. Umpire Asad Rauf raised the finger as Imran Nazir's Innings came to an end. Let's see the Animated Hawkeye to see if Asad Rauf was correct.

And indeed he was correct. A great decision in the end. Pakistan have now lost 2 quick wickets in one over. Two new batsmen are at the crease. Will Scotland get back in the game?
