Pakistan Tour of Australia 2009/10

Or he can get out! :D

But can you blame the kid for that? Its been some real gutless batting by the almonst non-existent Pakistan middle/top order who find ways of losing games from positions where you`d back even the Bangladeshi batsmen to pull it off. They`re putting real pressure on the young kid each time he comes out to bat. Misbah, Imran Farhat, Faisal Iqbal is`nt a middle order which will give you sleepless nights. The sooner Pakistan bring in some stability to their batting lineup, the better. Bringing in someone like Asim Kamal, who was dropped for no big fault of his would be a reasonable move if he is even playing these days.

I don`t think any other side would`ve lost this game. India,SA,SL or England would have chased down these runs with ease. I actually feel really bad that Pakistan lost this one. They really deserved to win it with the way they bowled but you won`t win a lot of test matches if you cannot chase down 170-odd. They did it twice against SL and once against NZ, now this game. Although Australia have showed a lot of spirit and character to come back from behind in this test, it is mainly because of the opposition not knowing how to win test matches. Also shows that Australia are not the undisputed best side in the world by a long way.

Why, Australia bowled a team out for 130 when they were chasing 170. How many teams are capable of that?

If your've got the time pop into PakPassion, they'd be going off no doubt. Gotta feel for Pakistan here but well played Australia.

From a quick read it appears a few are converting to Indian supporters until Akmal is dropped :p

Check some of Pakistan`s batting efforts from last year. Lost to SL chasing 168, Rangana Herath picking up 6. In the following test against SL, they were riding high on Fawad Alam`s knock, well placed at 240/1 or something and collapsed all of a sudden leaving SL just over a 100 to chase. NZ defended 240 on the last day and Pakistan only needed 50 runs to get with 5 wickets in hand (both the Akmals still at the crease).

Do you really think a middle order with some spine would`ve lost this game chasing 170? If you are honest with yourself, you`d say no. I don`t think Australia would`ve won defending a total of 170 against sides like India,England, SA and SL. The Windies gave them a huge scare last month chasing 350 and I still think they should`ve won that game.
