Seems like Shahid Afridi wants to play test cricket again because he's come out and said he's available for the 3rd test in Hobart. He's got to play ahead of Misbah for mine.

That would be weakening an already weak batting lineup! :doh Afridi is purely a bowler these days.

Still, Australia gave up a 200 run lead in the first innings. Whenever a test team when's from there it's impressive.

I do agree that its always impressive to come back from where they were after 3 days but I still think it has more to do with Pakistan bottling it than anything. I still have my reservations on whether they`d have won from this very position against some of the other top ranked sides.

Now that's a good news for Pakistan, Boom Boom will bring in a bit of buzz in the field and contribute with the ball by picking up some wickets with his leg spin.

And yeah he can score more runs than Faisal Iqbal at no. 3

Who? Afridi! There is no way Afridi is even qualifies as a test quality batsman. Heck, he rarely comes up with 25+ scores in even ODIs these days. His 15 ball 30 will do no good to the side in tests. I doubt if Pakistan need any more bowling cushion for the side. They need a specialist batsman and I don`t see many around, unfortunately.:helpYounis Khan.

He also predicted that you`d win the 2005 and 2009 Ashes.

SCG has been a great ground for Australia.

In 2009 we won the match with 11 balls to spare, and in 2008 Clarke's 3 wickets in an over got us another amazing win.

His 15 ball 30 is better then what Iqbal and Misbah are giving this current team. Afridi's still a decent batsmen when he wants to be, he could easily bat at six and play as the all-rounder Pakistan need at the moment.
