Yep, that's why you'd get rid of two guys that aren't test standard.

But dropping someone who is`nt test standard does`nt ensure you that the person you bring in as a replacement is test standard. Dropping Iqbal and bringing in Afridi as a replacement batsman is hardly a test class replacement which is precisely what is Pakistan`s problem at the moment. They managed to lose a test against NZ and that does`nt happen often.

Yasir Hameed looked like a decent talent but he did not get a lot of chances. I liked the look of that opener who played the ODIs against NZ at Abu Dhabi. His technique looked reasonably okay to me. Other than that, I can`t think of a lot of options, to be honest. Maybe Shoaib Malik but he is hardly a test quality batsman either, although I`d rate him far higher than Iqbal who has`nt done anything in any form of the game.

Malik as well. I'd go for Alam. Yes he also has poor technique but has scored immensely in the domestic league and has a temperament to say the least

Maybe not, but Afridi is international standard and IMO is good enough to play at six in test cricket. You really have to forget about his efforts in 20/20, ODI cricket with the bat though, he's easily capable of averaging at least 35 with the bat and would give Pakistan a very good 5th bowling option.

As far as i know, I dont think he did go. Considering the way PCB runs they might put Younis and Alam on a flight now

Iunno. He's scored run when we need them, like Hussey. I just hope Hughes plays.

I might as well go with the same Australian team. Hughes looked good in the second innings and as the game is a dead rubber, there shouldnt be a big problem, considering Pakistan's performance today

It's not like Hughes was impressive in this match.

He got unlucky in both innings.

1st was a good ball, swinging away late on a difficult pitch. 2nd was very lucky for Kaneria, as Hughes was playing him so well.

North needs to be dumped in a dumpster.

the simple reason Pakistan lost and has been loosing off late is their fielding..... Hussey in my opinion didn't play any special knock.. if you are dropped 4 times on your way to a hundred, its nothing special. And those dropped chances were as easy as they can be.

MoYo's captaincy as I mentioned before is austrasious. Pakistan's fielding was not as bad since MoYo took over the captaincy. He does not give any importance to fielding... telling the press that its infrastructure problem... then saying we can't drop Kamran because he is a good batsman. If he lets other batsman score 100 more runs whats the flippin use!!!!!!!!

this is incredibly frustating... has happened in Sri Lanka, New Zealand and now Australia.... just imagine what it is to be a Pakistani supporter...

I have decided to stop watching any matches unless they can prove that they deserve my support....

Yeah. my favourite player in Marcus North has to go. It happens to a few of my faves, like Morne Morkel.

Gosh, Ferguson will be so cut He probably would be ahead of Hughes in the pecking order, deserves it for sure.
