His 15 ball 30 is better then what Iqbal and Misbah are giving this current team. Afridi's still a decent batsmen when he wants to be, he could easily bat at six and play as the all-rounder Pakistan need at the moment.

Pakistan need a specialist batsman and not an all rounder. They have enough bowling options anyway and Aamer would be back for the next game as well. They need a specialist batsman in the Dravid/Kallis mould who can hold anchor for them. Unfortunately, Younis is the only option they seem to have and he is back home in Pakistan.

Well talk about playing with yourselves. This was probably the best chance we had to beat the Australians and yet we couldnt muster it. Such sick performance. We cant seem to win any game batting fourth. Everyone has been going after Kamran, but despite that we should have been able to chace 176. When players like Siddle scored more than the Pakistani(exception Umar Akmal) you tend to get worried. Dont really know who to sack. ATM time for Misbah to go and bring in Alam/Afridi if he is available.

If you have Faisal Iqbal as the benchmark for a batsman in test cricket, UV is India`s answer to Bradman then. Faisal Iqbal would probably struggle to make it to even the Kiwi top order! I`d rather bring in Fawad Alam than Afridi as he has shown at least once against SL that he can bat for long periods in test cricket.
