Pakistan Tour of Australia 2009/10

Quite symbolic that White's coming of age is against Pakistan the same opposition that Symonds coming of age occurred. Not to mention both are in the number 5 spot and both smack it big.

In general, no ground is big enough. Manuka is a massive oval and a few years ago there he hit a ton in the FRC which contained some enormous 6's, all lost balls. A bit pedantic lately Tum?

I'd say White's coming of age came in that ODi series against England, with his 105. Been an awesome knock from White, those sixes off Afridi were quality. Hope he gets a hundred. One thing though, can someone tell Kamran Akmal to STFU, annoys me so much; annoying face, annoying voice and he never shuts the hell up.

Well coming of age in the number 5 spot. What he showed in England was his ability to play the long innings but I was wondering if he had then sacrificed his aggressive nature as the knocks that followed were very subdued by his nature. This innings has shown that not only can he come in and steady the ship, he can also do it in an aggressive way just like Symonds.

Not only in England, he was great and knew his responsibilities during the Champions TRophy as well. Take a bow, Whitey :hpraise :hpraise magnificent hundred :banana2

I'm glad he was given the no 5 spot, not since 2001 has he been a genuine bowling all rounder at FC level. David Hookes pushed him into the top six for Victoria as soon as he could. He was wasted coming in every game for Australia with 3 overs to go.

Hehe Akmal's slow ball weakness continues. Brilliant slower ball by Aamer though and good thing that didn't go against his name. Although its released the pressure now.
